I would have went to see John if I had had the option of all 4. I think he had more of a presence on stage (im not saying Paul doesn't, I saw him in Glasgow and it was beyond amazing. Just unbelievably brilliant). I see the Beatles live and for me its John who stands out. But that's in hindsight and having seen Paul and Ringo already.

It's funny: Back in October I was on vacation visiting my mum when the Magical Mystery Tour DVD was released, and I said "Cool! I hope it's in the store when I get home!" And it was! And now here I am on vacation again...and I hope that Rockshow DVD's in the store when I get home!
I'm still hoping Funny Paper will review the thing and tell us if it compares to her memory of the show (which she saw LIVE, don'tcha know)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

No problem - equal delays on this end.
I think that if I were to run a "School of Rock" class, that Rockshow DVD would be a must. Even songs I don't care for on the (studio) recording come to life in spectacular fashion.
The artifice of bringing the 3 guitarists close together during the acoustic set really works. I'm surprised he hasn't done that since ( or has he?)
Yes, McC really "brings it on."

I happened upon a discussion of a defective mix on the Rockshow DVD, and I realized that my copy is actually defective. Has anyone encountered this? The volume fades and then suddenly comes back over and over again during the songs. The bass level drops--you can still hear the bass, but it becomes quiet and tinny sounding. Sometimes you hear things as if through a tunnel.
I never noticed this before, but I have recently gotten a new stereo system. Eagle Rock were offering replacement discs for a while, but I am sure they have stopped now. I hate to buy another one.
