No, I was in fact hanging out with Paul McCartney . He came to sit in my office yesterday and made a few trips to the cafeteria to buy me food and drinks. In between waiting for me to finish tasks, he discussed a few things with me.
Carnival Of Light and the Let It Be DVD are on the Apple schedule and we will see them in due time. He is also working on getting all the Beatles songs credited to McCartney-Lennon. We may also see some more collaborations with Kanye West and other prominent rap and pop artists. I think he said something about a project involving Iggy Azalea and Justin Bieber.

Here’s a Paul oriented joke:
What does Paul do with his bass every January 6th-9th?
Here’s an explanation to the joke (don’t open until after you’ve read the joke):
If you notice all of the released recordings from January 1969, you will notice that Paul didn’t play bass on any of them except for the ones performed on the rooftop, have a look for yourself:
George plays the bassline on his Tele while Paul plays acoustic guitar
Paul plays his Hofner bass, recorded live on the rooftop
John plays 6 string bass while Paul plays piano
Same as Dig It , although on the album version Paul overdubbed a bass part but since that was recorded a year later it doesn’t count
Same as Two Of Us
Same as Dig A Pony
Same as Dig A Pony and I’ve Got A Feeling
Paul plays the bassline on the piano
Same as Dig A Pony , I’ve Got A Feeling , and One After 909
Same as Dig A Pony , I’ve Got A Feeling , One After 909 , and Get Back
Same as Two Of Us and Maggie Mae
Rip It Up/Shake Rattle And Roll/Blue Suede Shoes
Same as Dig It , Let It Be , and The Long And Winding Road

That makes no sense.
First, why the 6th-9th only?
Secondly, they were in Twickenham on those dates, not Apple so no roof. He didn’t even know they would be playing on the roof on those dates.
Thirdly, Paul plays bass on ‘Get Back ‘ which was not from the rooftop, same goes for ‘Don’t Let Me Down ‘.

Firstly, 6th-9th is a reference to 1969.
Secondly, your #2 makes my joke even more funny because it means that Paul kept his bass at apple while they were at Twickenham (in a joke sense).
Thirdly, thanks for letting me know that Get Back and Don’t Let Me Down weren’t recorded on the roof, I always assumed they were because they played both of those songs live on the rooftop and I’m pretty sure they end the concert with the same line they use to end the album version of Get Back . Since it’s just a joke, it doesn’t have to be 100% accurate so I still think it’s funny.

Spector edited the “passed the audition” quip onto the studio take in place of the coda to give the impression it was a different version.

@heysgtpeppers That could be the best McCartney “interview” I’ve ever seen. He’s relaxed and funny. So many great facial expressions, and so at ease.

Also, why can’t fanboys be interested in this, there were just as much boys as girls who were into The Beatles back in the 1960’s and that has never changed. But I’m a straight guy and I think Paul McCartney looks cute. Paul was a lot of things, a great bassist, amazing signer, excellent guitarist, nice person, that guy who can get romantically involved with girls significantly younger than him (not in a pedophilia sense though), the same age as Eugene Krabs and Bob Ross, well known, and of course he was a cute and charming man while he was in The Beatles and he didn’t start to look old until his forties.

Paul once punched Eddie Vedder in the face. http://www.billboard.com/artic…..edder-face
I don’t really know much of Vedder’s music so is this a good thing?

It was an accident as I read, but Vedder is a cool guy who helped pioneer an important genre. But they let him talk for WAY too long on Beatles radio.

I’ve been appreciating Sir Paul quite a lot today.
I had planned to listen to a bunch of his music, but I didn’t get to because holidays. I have, however, had a song or two of his running through my head all day (right now it’s ‘Little Lamb Dragonfly’).
My favourite things about him as a musician:
1) His versatility. He can write and sing everything from all-out blustering rock to earworming pop silly love songs to gorgeous ballads, and does it all like a boss.
2) Just how much he speaks, breathes, thinks, lives his music. He’ll start giving interviews in song one of these days.
My favourite thing about him as a human (as I’ve posted before):
(Is it just me, or is there nothing more adorable than a cute guy adoring his cute kid?)

Here’s everyone’s favorite sir trying to catch a t-shirt at a Nets game back in 2013 (I think). If I had caught that t-shirt you bet your tookus I would have given that thing to Paul. *sigh* The man is simply too pure for this world.
