Is the spelling in it meant to be "conutry", I take it it's a typo.

I just saw this really great article being shared on twitter called "64 Reasons To Celebrate Paul McCartney ". It's really well written and reasoned and I'd highly recommend giving it a read.

That article is so good I'm saving it for Paul's birthday.

A quote from Paul from the Beatles Anthology book of which the first line I am trying to bring a little more into my life.
That’s what it’s like in life. You go through life and you never stop and say: ‘Hey, you know what? I think you’re great.’ You don’t always tell your favourite drummer that he’s your favourite. Ringo felt insecure and he left, so we told him, ‘Look, man, you are the best drummer in the world for us.’ (I still think that.) He said ‘thank you’, and I think he was pleased to hear it. We ordered millions of flowers and there was a big celebration to welcome him back to the studio.
As Buddy sang
And know I know you're gone and I can't find you anywhere
and once they are gone you cannot say how much you appreciate them or how good they are at what they do.
It's easier to tell others how great someone is when that someone is not there, harder when they are around. It's strange.
But to balance it out, here is one of my favourite quotes from John
"It doesn't matter about people not liking our records, or not liking the way we look, or what we say. You know, they're entitled to not like us. And we're entitled not to have anything to do with them if we don't want to, or not to regard them. We've all got our rights, you know, Harold."

Absolutely. I think it's because we fear what could happen after we say something. We're shy so we say nothing. And perhaps we feel like we'd tell the person when they're not there. But if they did re-appear, would we really have the guts?
