Strip Poker!!?? Should this forum have a Pg rating? :)

Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.

I can think a-hard-days-night-ringo-13 of a few things that would cause us to get an R slapped on the site if some rating agency existed to judge forums. :-) And not all of them are from me. :-)

Truth: Should I pull out the “who sang the ahhhhhs” card first? If not, I might choose one of the questions about personality that I posed early in this discussion. If  he were to pick me, I would let you all help me rank the “truth” questions in order of importance.

or

Dare: Stand on a street corner in New York in a Speedo and play “A Few of My Favorite Things” on his Hofner.

Some threads are bordering on having protests about the content. This clip from Father Ted seems rather apt.

Back on p. 2 of this discussion I said: “What’s up with the Hitchcock bird thing? Birds are all over Paul’s music: blackbird, loon, cardinal, hummingbird, jenny wren, magpies, pigeon. That’s just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.”

Now I just read this about Paul in “The Beatles Book” August 1963, “The eyes, always on the move (from bird-watching!) are hazel in colour, deeply intense.”

So, I just got a question answered by Paul. It’s just that he answered it in an interview 5 years before I was born.

Bird-watching….  or Bird-watching?  a-hard-days-night-paul-5

"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been..  I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene..  Banjos!  Banjos!  All the time, I can't forget that tune..  and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

Paul talks in Many Years from now about how he was a keen bird watcher as a child. So I wonder, does he still partake in this hobby?

Not if he wants to keep Nancy happy.

(C’mon, someone had to make the joke.)

Yes, someone did need to bring that joke to the fore. Good job, mmm.

Hum, I wonder if he still does his bird watching in the type of magazines he sings about in “On My Way to Work.” Does he have to sneak a peak when Nancy isn’t looking or does she encourage him to survey all he likes as long as he “eats at home?”

What’s happened to this forum recently? Here am I reading along, mildly interested and thinking we’re having a normal conversation about something and then I get all these images in my mind brought on by things everyone’s saying…. :)

C’mon, we now know Paul would be Peaceman (which actually sounds more like what he would say on those herbal ciggies, maybe he was when the question was asked and the web person filled in the rest- maybe thats why the questions are primary 2 level) so we can now sleep peacefully at night.

Question for his web person: Do you sigh every time he gives these answers? Or are you just glad you’re getting paid to type them?

Please, Paul, no herbal ciggies in Japan.

Now that the name “Peaceman” has had time to swirl around in my brain, I’v decided that Paul can’t have that title. That distinction properly belongs to Ringo now. Ringo inherited it from John.

When you and John started out, would you say that the two of you had a healthy self-confidence or would you call what you had arrogance? What would the others around you then call what they saw in you?

If you think you just had a positive self-image and proper self-esteem, do you think either or both of you crossed the line into arrogance at points during the 1960’s? After the 60’s?
