Yeah, well, a lot of people think that he made horrible music in the 80s (or at least, the people that have expressed it to me do), but it has some good songs. My favorite, probably said before, is “Ballroom Dancing” and “Wanderlust”. But different strokes for different folks. I mean, I don't really like “Yesterday ” and you do, so who knows?

I salute the lady who screamed "I love you Paul!" at a tribute band's concert.

But of course, we both like the Beatles *understatement of the century* so I trust you know your good music. We'll see what the verdict is. It could be one of those albums that you have to grow into liking. I have to admit, Magical Mystery Tour took me a little while but now I love it. It starts off with “meh. I don't see what the big deal is, this is a little weird.” And then, out of nowhere, it gets stuck in your head: “Baby you're a rich man, baby you're a rich man…WHAT AM I SINGING? I must listen to it again!” Before you know it, BAM it's your favourite. For the moment.

After I took it, it opened my eyes. We only use one-tenth of our brain. Just think what we could all accomplish if we could only tap that hidden part. It would mean a whole new world. If the politicians would take LSD, there wouldn't be any more War or poverty or famine.

All the songs from Flaming Pie … In my opinion it's Paul's best solo album… a-hard-days-night-paul-8

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Awesome album. Of the Macca albums I have (including Wings), it is rapidly becoming my favorite as well.

Coming Up ” (studio version from McCartney II ) absolutely rules. Great exuberant, tape-altered vocals, sweet bass licks and a great upbeat melody. Classic, inimitable Macca.

a-hard-days-night-paul-6  haha. crazy those 80's. whole vid. I was smiling to Pauls – it must looked stupid, hehe. I love their moves (esepcially the piano-gay at the ending of official clip.), but I find the altred vocal that you've mentioned Joseph S. quite annoying – I enjoy paul in his rocky-lke versions. that was too 'sweetie', but still, fun to listen. I do love his rocknroll covers and own stuff: be bop a lula or that's alright, mama is with me everywhere I go, recently. the way he surrounds with his warm voice it's amccazing a-hard-days-night-george-10 also, I couldn't get trought the week without he's cooozy love-songs – I'm thinking especially of those which were created when Linda lived – there're still one of the most beatiful pair that I've ever seen. but a bit off topic. a-hard-days-night-george-10 yees. this are those.

Ha, well, I can't really blame you for finding the vocal annoying. For me, the extremely optimistic (and sincere) tone of the song overrides any potential annoyance at the “cute” vocals. The brass/synth lines in the instrumental break are really great too.

I didn't mean to say that the whole thing was too hm. weak, cheesy or something. ano, it was just good – not good as I'm DownTHAAAAAANK YOU, guys for this title. for over an hour now I've been moving my head front-back (knocking but to the music melody – how is it in english.?;p) to the 'rock n roll music' (79)… amaaazig stuff there. hueh, I'll bet you've listened to it once, twice or possibly twenty times, buut do it again, my mine-of-knowlegde boys and girls.!

The beauty that is Ram On . Paul played this when I saw him live in December after an audience member requested it. Ah, it was just so amazing and unexpected. paul-mccartney

I think it's great you're going through a phase,

and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple
