Paul a few times, during the Beatles and in solo career, has worked in a little scat singing.
Here’s one snippet I like, from “Magneto and Titanium Man” (which he repeats later in the song):
Faded flowers, wait in a jar, till the evening is complete... complete... complete... complete...

Cha… Is there a question in this topic or are you just stating a fact?
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

Well, I could come up with one like: Why doesn’t Paul do more scat?
Still, Paul has the unique distinction (I think) of writing and performing the only rock song that is in scat (Mumbo). It might also be the only song out there that is purely scat (i.e., mostly nonsense syllables with a few random recognizable words thrown in).
Faded flowers, wait in a jar, till the evening is complete... complete... complete... complete...

Yeah, “Bip Bop” is a good one.
“Heart Of The Country ” — good one; forgot all about that one.

What would you call “Bip Bop?”Crap.
It’s a ridiculous song, but once in a while I just have to listen to it!

Bip Bop has the following qualities:
1) musically expert
2) catchy
3) musically pleasing
4) great showcase for one of Paul’s many different vocal styles
5) delightfully whimsical.
And yet mmm would want to throw all these qualities away in the name of what standard exactly…?

Annoyance.
Even Paul thought it wasn’t very good – until he heard some kid liked it.
The live ’72 tour version is much better, it has a much better feel to it, becoming more bouncy. The electric guitars and drums work really well.
