How about a thread for this criminally overlooked tune. It's probably my favorite from Venus And Mars . Thoughts?

I have to admit I didn't know the song before but you got me addicted to it. It's so mysterious and changes all the time, sometimes it sounds even oriental to me and then again I feel like there are even Chinese influences.  And the changing of Paul's voice between the 'sad verses' and the 'hopeful verses' is so amazing. Just unbelievable Paul Nelson called it another banal ballad in the Rolling Stones critic!

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

I feel like this is the song that I've appreciated the least on Venus And Mars . It is a very brilliant song, and I will definitely have to give it a better listen.
