Got this one last week and as it was recorded in 1966 I had to backtrack to catch up. It's a short CD (around 26 minutes even with a bonus track) but nicely mastered with a good bright sound (mine is dated 2011) from Varese Saraband.
The music is basically a theme and variation on the main film theme; the variations being horns, twangy guitars, orchestra etc. The theme itself is not bad, but it does get a little repetitive even with the short running time, but it is pleasant enough. My favourite track was #12 which had a nice acoustic guitar variation.
Not essential in my mind, but worth it for McCartney completists.
[EDIT] Oh, and George Martin had a significant hand in orchestration etc.

Is it instrumental or is there singing too?
It's purely instrumental. Paul didn't do a full soundtrack, just a theme for the film, and as noted the CD is the theme and a lot of variations on it. In a way it's a very early precursor of some of his classical work. It cost me around A$12 new delivered off ebay which is OK for what it is.
As an aside, I think Wonderwall is still credited as the first solo Beatles album as George was more actively involved in making it, but this may be the first album of solo Beatle music?

Seems as though I will be somewhere else on the 18th. I'll send Ohhh Boy to the store for me.

Finally got to listening to this.
@Beatlebug it vaguely reminds me of the Atom Heart Mother suite, but tighter and a little more self aware. It is quite good. As part of my chronological listening experience, its nice to hear between Pepper and the MMT singles.

That sounds cool! I always thought AHM would've been better if it weren't so dragsome. I shall have to give it a listen, if I can find it.

It's better situated between 'Revolver ' and the 'Penny Lane ', 'Strawberry Fields Forever ', 'When I'm Sixty-Four ' & 'Everywhere It's Christmas' recordings... A time that's gone down in history as 'Swinging London'... John met Yoko, George & Patti went to India while Ringo spent quality time with his family (pun intended) and leave it to Paul to capture the spirit of the times, immortalized forever on disc... A VERY underrated work, outstanding...:-)
