This album irrates me at times. To go from Abbey Road to this in 6 months depresses me.

Yeah, but he went from Let it Be to Abbey Road ...and then from this to RAM!!! Which is, to me, every bit as amazing as Abbey Road . They can't all be masterpieces.

True, but Let It Be wasn't intentionally "sloppy" jams and the like. they still strived for a "Beatley" album. McCartney wasn't Let it Be in any ways.

A album of 1/2 filler. Man We Was Lonely has great harmonies with Linda, or a duet as Paul says.
Maybe Im Amazed is a classic Macca song but has been overplayed to the point of becoming tedious. 3 versions of it on the expanded remaster was too much.
I'm looking forward to the reissue of Ram . Recently heard the mono radio promo remixes and rediscovered it. Im one of the few who loves Wild Life .

Currently giving this album a first listen... not too impressed so far. There seems to be a lot of filler.

Yip. It's got endearing moments, but there's a lot of junk on it.
...See what I did there?
My favourites are Junk and Every Night . The best is Maybe I'm Amazed , but even that standout track seems to have some filler lines. I'm just sitting here wondering how this could be the same guy who wroted I Will and For No One .
Despite the fact that my cold and unsentimental reason is telling me 'this is rubbish', I still think it's a pretty fun listen.

'Maybe I'm Amazed ' is so overplayed; heard it far too many times.

The album is just fun and unfortunately not anything else. I can see why people were disappointed when it originally came out.
Although Maybe I'm Amazed has some of Paul's best vocals ever and it is a great song, Ram is soo much better.

5. Man We Was Lonely
6. Junk

I have no idea what "half-speed master" means or if it's therefore better or not.
