Offline The Sun is reporting that the album will be confirmed tomorrow (Thursday).
A source said:
Paul has been totally alone, with no producer or sound engineer, while making this record, just as he was for the previous two volumes.
Obviously this time around recording in isolation wasn’t his choice.
But it made complete sense for this album to be the third in the trilogy, particularly given the first came out five decades ago.
It’s been a true solo effort and he had to get experimental with what he used as instruments, hence the saucepan [used as percussion].
He’s now gearing up to put it out in the coming weeks, with a global announcement due tomorrow.
I’ve also had some thoughts about the second tweet yesterday, with the picture of a single rose that didn’t really seem to fit with the other two photos of groups of three, but then I remembered Paul has a hybrid tea rose named after him, the McCartney Rose:
Paul has some growing at his Hog Hill Studio. I wonder if the rose pictured is a McCartney Rose?

Offline Third Man Records announced a “333 Edition” of McCartney III – 333 copies which sold out before I was able to get to it.

McCartney III —333 Edition is limited to 333 copies and is pressed on ‘yellow-with-black-dots’ vinyl created using 33 recycled vinyl copies of McCartney and McCartney II by Third Man Pressing. This special “regrind” pressing, the first version of McCartney’s third self-titled solo album available for purchase, is hand-numbered and features an exclusive screen-printed jacket.
My guess is that there will be loads of variants of this. There were plenty for Egypt Station – coloured vinyl, Spotify exclusive, various CD editions. The one above went on sale before the album was even announced, which is interesting. I wonder if they’ll confirm the release earlier than tomorrow.
