Paul on Jimmy Fallon. Shows up around the 16-minute mark and does a dorky dance. :-D

First, if this has been posted previously, I apologize.  This is the first time I’ve seen it and I didn’t find it here during a search.

American talk show ‘Later’ hosted by Bob Costas interviewed McCartney in 1991.

The quality of the video is pretty shabby and the editing is really bad, but the thing that strikes me is McCartney lets down his usual guard a bit and talks almost bluntly about a some subjects.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?…..bnthaM1kCY

But the thing I took away, probably more than anything else, is Paul McCartney accurately recalling childhood memories and instantly stifling the emotions pinned to them.

So…

There is no Faul.  There is only Zuul.

Thanks for posting the interview, @C.R.A.. I am about half way through. I can’t wait to finish watching it tomorrow. I stopped right after the part where Paul talks about how much Yoko came between John and the other Beatles.

Nothing available online in Canada.  All I got from the CTV website was a puny clip…

You’re welcome, C.R.A.

Paul’s jacket looks two sizes too big for him. Yeah, I know that isn’t a very deep observation.ahdn_paul_02

It was the 90’s.  Not exactly the pinnacle decade of fashion.

Paul was on the Nerdist podcast. Haven’t listened yet, but people at Paul’s board had good things to say about it. And if you’ve seen me mention @midnight on the board, Chris Hardwick is the host and Nerdist his company.

Edit: This interview kicks ass. Really intelligent conversation, respectful without being obsequious. Wish I could have been a fly on that wall.

There were rumors that Paul answers in the Weird Al interview  weren’t taken from a different, legit interview like the others and it was an actual bit done with Al and Paul. I really wanna know if that’s true or not! a-hard-days-night-paul-7

That interview was mentioned here as being fake. That’s all I know about it. Perhaps someone else has more of a scoop on it.?.?

Note : I moved StarrisonSubmarine’s post to this thread to keep it with the other Paul interview. Well, it sorta is an “interview”. Right? If someone can think of a better place, please let me know.
