Offline Only saw this post recently. The intensity of anger and personal offense taken at a performer who doesn’t know you from Adam is actually quite scary, not to mention the length of this screed. No wonder they have such high security at concerts and in their personal lives. I don’t blame them, pal. It’s people like you, a total stranger in the crowd, that put them in that position.
I don’t go to concerts any more because of the “It’s All About Me” people who will elbow you in the face to record a bad shaky YouTube vid so they can brag to their friends they were there, all the while actually missing the show. This Is Me at the gate. This Is Me arguing with Security. Don’t they know who I am? This Is Me at my seat. This Is Me watching the show. Damn, he messed up the lyrics, it ruined my recording. This Is Me showing my friends what I was doing at the show.
When it’s all about you, you’re missing the party.
