Hey @Skelter, look what song Paul played last night. Could there be a connection to your image in the picture game? Can the Forum influence Paul's song selections?

Was that the first time he's played it?

I'm quite sure everybody knew that
@Beatlebug I hate to say it, but he's sounded better. I'm actually a bit shocked at the way his voice sometimes nearly completely falters. Having said that, it gets a lot better as the song progresses. Maybe he just has to get back into the swing of things.

Excuse me, @Evangeline, but we demand as many views as possible. Your show will be different to Reklo87's. We want to know, no demand to know, your thoughts on Seattle! Don't let us down. If you're going, we wanna know what you think...

The man speaks the truth. Mark Lewisohn, to this very day, is earning royalties on books that cite details of every concert, recording session, interview and fart every Beatle ever released.
We want details, my friend.

I said he sounded great-- I didn't say he was never better and he does get better as it goes on. Perhaps the band joining in bolsters his confidence a bit.

I don't know how it works here. The last live thread (maybe it was the Ringo one) had a huge "Containers Spoilers' warning in the title. Can that be added back in. Apologies if you dont want to know tho why on earth are you' reading the thread if you dont.
Here's 'A Hard Day's Night ' and 'Love Me Do '. Really cool to see Paul do these live.
Also worth noting that, certainly on the 13th, 'The Long And Winding Road ' was dropped. So at least there are changes.

I noticed from the set list it doesn't look like he performed any new material but I saw an article earlier this year about him working with Adele's producer Greg Kurstin on an upcoming album. Does he usually debut new material on tour or will there be a new tour to support the next album? Would the release of Pure McCartney delay the prospect of a new album release?

I cannot for the life of me see Paul having a new album competing with a career retrospective package at the same time. If there is to be a new album I'd expect it to be released towards the end of the year.

I think he'd be more likely to release a single or an LP first, and then feature it on tour so people can sing along. I don't know his track record, but that seems more logical than playing a song people can't buy yet. New albums do seem to be promoted with a tour, but he'll tour without new material as well.
Throughout the Out There tour, the NEW drum skin was still used, even though the tour wasn't really meant to promote the album. The 1on1 skin looks a bit naff if I may say so; it seems like someone just put some gaffer tape on the drum skin. It certainly doesn't look like anything we might see on an LP sleeve, so either there won't be a One On One album at all, or we'll have to wait a while longer.
I don't expect a new release any time soon, not now that Pure McCartney box turned out to be real. I think the best we can hope for is a single.
