Anyone see Paul live at Lollapalooza? For me it was a great life experience. I thought he sounded great too.  The performance was awesome, and I thought he played a great selection of songs, my favorite played being “Helter Skelter

Anyone have any comments on the performance or songs played??

I havent seen it nor have any idea what was in the set-list. Presumably it was slimmed down from his tour.

He performed for 2 and a half hours, so that was pretty cool.  But he also played “Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite”, which I heard is a rarity for him to play at concerts. Still sounded great at 73 though!

Thanks, I Was the Walrus.  From the one review I read, sounds like he deviated somewhat from his “Out There” set list: Back In The USSR , Helter Skelter , New, …

Mr. Kite though has been part of his recent list.

I thought he’d be playing a shorter set, but if he played two and a half hours, sounds pretty close to his full concerts.

(I hear that Blackbird was played with a full moon back drop.)

Look forward to catching clips on Youtube.

I can only imagine what a thrill the audience would have felt when all of a sudden Paul bursts into We Can Work It Out beatlemaniacs_02_gif

As for me, sitting at home watching the video, I got a thrill out of seeing The Man play those very chords I play myself daily.
