I bet Heather Mills saw him angry at least once.
May still to this day, but not in front of Beatrice.

I've seen a couple of interviews from the 80s where he and Linda aren't suffering fools gladly. If I can find the YouTube links again, I'll post.

He even handled his divorce very cordially (discreetly) the way it should be, somethings still should be private, whether its paul mccartney or one of us guys/gals ....
Well ,yeah. From Atlas and you, breatle62, he did stay calm and not go to a full rage mode. Then with his divorce, he held someyhings private. He really does not seem to be a real angry man.

I can't really picture what it would have looked like, but I instantly thought of that oft-cited instance where Ringo came round to Paul's to tell him the rest of the Beatles had voted to delay his first solo album in favour of Let It Be . Apparently that was the final straw - all the frustration and hurt he'd been suppressing with his usual McCartney diplomatic veneer spilled out and he really gave Ringo a piece of his mind. In the court case, Ringo's affidavit told of how "Paul went completely out of control, prodding his finger into my face and shouting 'I'll finish you! You'll pay!'"

I never knew Paul did that. I knew about the court and stuff, but, same as you, I can never picture that. Thanks for telling me that.

Haven't had a chance to look for that interview, but there's this charming story from Howard Sounes' bio on Paul involving alcohol, David Blaine and the c-word while he was married to Heather. Not sure I believe it, but there you go.

It was a very well-reported event at the time, with multiple sources. It happened in September 2003, around the 18th/19th. Exactly what happened is debated, but it certainly included the public sacking of his long-term publicist, Geoff Baker, as Paul stormed off, which Paul would tell reporters on the 20th as he left Cavendish Avenue was just a joke. The incident was considered serious enough that a police investigation was launched, though not pursued.
Just google "paul mccartney david blaine" and you'll find much of the coverage from the time.

At the very end of the clip a woman appears in the video with a friend (black hair, bag over shoulder talking to a blonde haired lady); is she with Paul as she seems to close the car door and talk to Paul. Anybody know who she is? It got my attention.
Is it Nancy? It could be Nancy? It's Nancy isn't it?
