Offline So, our boy Macca turns 68 tomorrow.
Curious to see if VH1 Classic had any special Beatles/McCartney programming lined up, I decided to check the listings.
I noticed they are airing Imagine and A Hard Day’s Night – at 2 and 4 in the afternoon, respectively. After seeing that, I thought, ‘huh, that’s it?’ What a letdown. I understand AHDN being aired on Paul’s b-day, but Imagine ?!? And airing them midday?!?
Oh well, such is life.
Anyway, to make a long story longer, the DVR is at the ready to record them (again!) because to date, I do not own either movie. After a grueling work week, I enjoy laid-back Friday evenings at home and tomorrow is all lined up. AHDN , Paul McCartney Live in St. Petersburg (also recorded from VH1) and then a whole bunch of Macca music. I’ll enjoy Imagine another day.
Regardless of how you honor the man tomorrow, enjoy.

Offline I might sound stupid, but I'm going to ask it anyway… is Paul vegan? Or just vegetarian? I neeeed to know!! 
But anyhow, I just got the McCartney Years DVD set from the library (which I know someone else in the DVD section had their eyes on, but I beat that kid to the punch 
), and I'm listening to nothing but Wings and Paul-written music. My phone's alarm noise is now Paul's composition Love in the Open Air. What a great song to wake up to! 
I'm suuuper excited!
And thanks for that link, Zig! I haven't watched A Hard Day's Night in forever!
