@Expert Textpert We definitely wouldn’t want to lose you. You’re a great contributor to our discussions.
Thanks. You don’t have to look very far on the Internet to see that the majority of fans dislike Paul’s collaborations with Kanye and Ri-what’s-it.
I suppose what bothers me is that Paul is very favored on this message board, and it’s like a free-for-all where people can just criticize John and Yoko whenever they feel like it.
That’s just not accurate. Paul is critised on here plently.

Yes, I think this board is pretty balanced when it comes to praising and criticizing all four.

It’s not balanced in criticizing the Beatles’ wives.
Also, Paul was a pretty violent, sarcastic fellow but you don’t see people discussing it the same way they do John. I’ve brought up a few negative things on here about Paul, and they always only get a few responses.

Heather Mills. Slated and mocked by many if not all.
And its mentioned many times the other side of Paul.
The difference might be that there are more books, documentaries, quotes etc from and about John so more folk know and ask about it but there is certainly no bias or favouritism towards one or the other.
Wait !!! We all were totally anti-Paul when it came to the Ahh’s. I stand corrected.

Maybe some of the wives have been a lot more controversial in their behaviour in public than others?
I also think John wore his heart on his sleeve in public more than the others, which means there is a lot more evidence of the way he behaved and felt, though his thoughts on any one matter seemed to change by the day. My perception is that Paul cared a lot more about his public image and was all sweet and roses in public and kept his hard edge private.
Now, what song were we discussing again, I’ve lost track?

The last post on topic was Paul working with Lady Gaga.
Thanks. I’m curious to see what they will come up with, though I don’t like her music much at all.
I’d love to see him do something with Dave Gilmour again or some of the other surviving oldies he may not have worked with before; though I’m happy to see him working on new material no matter who it’s with.

Maybe Paul is hoping to teach something to the people he is choosing to work with? Has he done any interviews on these collaborations? Sorry if I’ve missed them.
Maybe he lost a bet with Beatrice or one of his grandkids and this is the price he had to pay? Or maybe he took the dare in a game of truth-or-dare? Somebody see what is loaded on Beatrice’s ipod.
May we never see a news story posted by parlance and x-posted here that Paul is involved in a three-way collaboration with One Direction and Justin Bieber.

I think that’s true, Paul was just more private.

I say good on him if he wants to collaborate with Bieber and One Direction. We may not like their music, and we may not listen to it, but it doesn’t mean those kids don’t have talent.

Yeah, it isn’t for us to choose who he works with. We just get to chose to listen to the songs or not and to decide if we respect him as much if he collaborates with those we consider “less-than-worthy” of a song with him.
For the record, I haven’t listened to the two new collaboration songs so I cannot comment on them.

I saw on the interwebs today that Paul’s friend Kanye disrespected Beck at the Grammy’s. Real classy. Paul should be embarrassed.
