What is your favorite mix from love? Are there any that you enjoy more than the original Beatles releases?

My favorite is Drive My Car /What You’re Doing /The Word

"The pump don't work cause the vandals took the handles!"

-Bob Dylan, Subterranean Homesick Blues

"We could ride and surf together while our love would grow"

-Brian Wilson, Surfer Girl

I’ll go with Strawberry Fields Forever .  I like that they changed the key, and had that acoustic part at the beginning.  Plus, it’s really impressive that they were able to cram all those bits from other songs at the end.  I’ll give honorable mentions to Hey Jude , Here Comes The Sun /The Inner Light , and Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite /I Want You (She’s So Heavy)/Helter Skelter .

I love the whole album, but my top 3 would be, Get Back , Lady Madonna , and Julia (transition) into I Am The Walrus .

I like the Tomorrow Never Knows / Within You And Without You mix, and the Blackbird / Yesterday .

Since I don’t like how they butchered The Beatles catalogue, I’ll go with Help !, as it’s the only song on this album that is unaltered.

Maybe you should try posting more.

I agree with @HMBeatlesfan. Help ! is pretty much the only one I like. Back In The USSR gets an honorable mention, but the album is awful!

I always like the Hey Jude track.  I enjoy the bass towards the end of it.

In all seriousness I don’t care for the album. It’s not that I find it awful, more it doesn’t go far enough in the remixes. Fans have created far better mash-ups without access to the vaults and master tapes.

What’s my favourite? I can’t even remember what’s on the album.

My favourite mix on the Love album is definetly Within You Wthout You/ Tomorrow Never Knows together with Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds . Especially this moment at the end of WYWY/TNK where there are already bits of LITSWD shimmering through is just breathtaking and so psychedelic. But Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite /I Want You/Helter Skelter is great too, the storm coming up in I Want You mixed with these bits of other songs is even more scary than in the original. Still I would not prefer any of the mixes to the original, because there is always one point in every mix, where you realize it doesn’t quite fit. You kind of here the seam.

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

I didn’t really like this album much. I don’t think it’s bad, but the only part that really sticks out for me is Within You Without You /Tomorrow Never Knows .

WYWY/TNK’ worked only in that the vocals matched the drums, it was severely lacking however.

This is the first album full album by the beatles i listened to. It was amazing. This is all I listened to for about a week and was great introduction to the beatles. Which as you can see now from me being on this website. I’m a hiuge beatles fan.

My favorite mix on this album is kind of hard. There are so many and the transitions are wonderful. I think if i had to pick one though it would Blackbird /Yesterday . The beginning of the song ,which includes the blackbird riff, is such a beautiful transition into Yesterday

I think Mr Kite/I Want You/Helter Skelter is my favourite. The ending riff of I Want You combined with Paul’s screaming sounds absolutely amazing.

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Strawberry Fields Forever is definitely my favourite but I have to mention Hey Jude for the bit where the drumming goes quiet, and also the orchestral section at the end.

im quite a fan of the end of All You Need Is Love as well.
