To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. You can tell that it's early in the year, about in late March or early April with the mention of Julians birthday. That might be what they were talking about. But I found it on Tumblr. It's from 1974, John to Cynthia. That's all I really know for now. I really like the fact that his typing's poor, and he's like “I learned how to TYPE!”

claimed that “Jealous guy” was about him? I find it unlikely, anyway.
About the break up… No way. I can see Yoko having another man, but never her leaving John completely. I'm kind of glad ( some beatle fan will murder me) that beatles never got back together. Then there probably wouldn't be all those fantastic solo recordings !

Offline Yoko didn't break up the Beatles. The Beatles broke up the Beatles. They couldn't fit their egos into one room at the same time anymore.
John could have had any woman in the world, but he chose Yoko. I find it that when some people say that they hate Yoko for it, it's jealousy.
And imo, I think “Jealous Guy ” might have had something to do with Paul about music. It might have like how John said that “Hey Jude ” was written for him, though, and he's misinterpreting things.

I disagree with that, because when he had Cynthia they didn't get mad about it. and I think most people hate Yoko for what she did to Julian after John died and how supposedly whenever one of John's relatives called Yoko'd never put them through to John and becuase most people frown upon having your husband live with somebody else for over a year.
Yoko probably made the breakup faster, but it was happening even before she met John. and John's the one who brought her into the recording studio, so it was him, really.

Offline Look, everyone is a good person inside, along with a bad one. We all have our dark moments. One of the only reasons why I like Yoko was that she helped mature the man he was inside, and wouldn't take some of his crap. And even if the helped speed up the break up, it happened. It's sort of like saying (and I'm not saying you DID) that she also caused him to die. We can't change it. All we can do is take it for what it is.

Well maybe indirectly, she did cause him to die becuase maybe if they never met then John wouldn't have moved to New York. But then you could say that indirectly, Paul did too because without Paul there probably wouldn't have been The Beatles and then John might not have moved to London. We'll never know.

Offline Chapman was crazy enough top go wherever John was and shoot him. John would have died some other way. Maybe before or after now. Who knows. But that doesn't make any sense. He might have moved to New York due to the fact that he liked it there. You don't have to blame Yoko.

Offline I should have worded that differently: Just in that context, about them moving to New York. I don't remember ever reading or hearing him say it was because of Yoko. He might have moved there otherwise. We don't know. But we can't say that Yoko was the reason. Just for that example, though.
