As you're probably well aware, there are three books of poetry by John Lennon : In His Own Write, A Spaniard in the Works*, and Skywriting by Word of Mouth. I like all three – I don't always understand them all, but I like them.
My favorites:
IHOW – I Sat Belonely, All Abord Speeching, and Nicely Nicely Clive
SitW – Snore Wife and some Several Dwarts, The Fat Budgie, and The Wumberlog (or The Magic Dog)
SbWoM – The Balled of John and Yoko, A Complete Change of Pacemaker, The Importance of Being Erstwhile, and Never Cross a Horse with a Loose Woman
I hope I spelled that all correctly, with his word play and all. As you can see, I'm guilty of liking the ones that most closely resemble a story. The rambling ones that morph into pun after pun can be too much. But I try my best to keep up.
So, if you've read them, what are your thoughts? If you haven't, why not?
* I spent too much on this one, but I just had to have the same cover as the one in HELP!.

As we all know, my mum keeps a close watch on my funds, and hasn't allowed me to buy them just yet. Plus, I just lost my part-time job (long story) so I have no money. Though, I have read some online- brilliant as always!
Doesn't Paul also have a book of poetry out? Someone showed it to me in my Writer's Craft class, I believe.

Paul's should be interesting. I'll look into that thanks. (Sorry about the job.)
Edit: Here are two, now that you have time to spare.

Paul: “Really? I don't understand this. We ain't written no poetry.”

By the way Skye, wonderful/adorable/sexy avatar as per usual. Didja make it or find it?
Found it on a Random Beatles post – see Paul's birthday! I want to make my own, but I don't have the program.
