Please vote! No doubt the others are more worthy, but heart wants what the heart wants and I want John Lennon on a coin. a-hard-days-night-john-5

There's no better candidate in that list.

I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

That would be at least a little bit funny if Sir Walter Raleigh won instead of John.

Same here. But they really should use a more flattering picture of John, something that would make girls all over the world suddenly interested in coin collecting.

The Royal Mail issued some Beatles stamps a few years ago. I sent off for a collector's pack. They still mail me promotional stuff now and then, but it hasn't made me any more interested in stamp collecting.

I really hope a John Lennon coin comes to fruition. It would be lovely to see them in circulation.

Actually I'd love to have this pic in a coin. Sans Yoko. two-virgins

Edit : Forget it. This is a good pic of John for the coin.

BTW Are these coins commemorative or for actual circulation?

It's good to see I'm not the only one who picked up on the fact that Raleigh's portrait was right next to Lennon's photo on that web site.

BTW Gnik, what happened to your yellow sub avatar? That was pretty cool.

They'll probably be legal tender but nobody would actually use them.

I'm going to go back to it, I do miss it. I just made this one so I figured I'd use it for at least a week.
