John Lennon : The Comic Book Coming in December

In the pantheon of musical legends, John Lennon is at the top of the mountain, if not the king of the mountain. From his time with the Beatles and his solo projects, he asked the world to ignore borders and divisions, and instead he encouraged the average person to embrace what brings people together. And when his life ended viciously from an assassin’s bullet in 1980, the music industry, and the world, lost an advocate for peace, love and true musical Now Bluewater shares Lennon’s story as part of Bluewater Comics “Orbit” series. Orbit: John Lennon will hit comic book stores in Dec. 2011 in time for the anniversary of his passing.

"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that."

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.

"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

Yay! A Beatles one would be stellar, though

Sounds interesting… Though I'd prefer a Beatles one, because I don't like how John has overshadowed the other Beatles. After all, they Paul and George are as great musicians as he was.

Sont des mots qui vont très bien ensemble.

I love that a Beatle could be part of an “Orbit” series. (I couldn't resist)

There's also a manga series of Beatles, or rather, about a tribute band who travels back in time… But anyway, its name is “Boku wa Beatles” (“I am the Beatles”)

Arent drawings of people meant to look like them? Looks more like a tribute band.

That doesn't look too bad, I've seen weirder.

LOL, “the Beatles were my downfall.” What'd they do to her?

What hapened to John in that magazine cover? Looks nothing like him.

And what actually happened to the woman on the cover? She is in tears, near inconsolable like she has been given devastating news. I presume her life fell apart due in some way to the Beatles. I am curious as to what happened.

It really annoys me that they gave everyone but John blue eyes. They could have at least tried to make it look like them- they all look like my idea of what the Beatles looked like before I’d actually seen a photo of them, if that makes any sense. Generic Moptops.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 That's a really neat find! Makes me want to see more of those original comics…

Also, I love how that sight turns your mouse into a mustache!
