I've been really, really digging this song in the last few days, so I played it to my dad and he said 'it sounds like John Lennon is doing quite a good impersonation of Led Zeppelin.'
I quite agree with that statement, actually!

“You know it’s such a drag to face another day.” My favourite line from the song, which believe it or not I also listened to quite recently. I don’t think it’s a classic Lennon song or anything but I do enjoy the energy it has. Really fun.

Underrated sonng from Walls And Bridges . My ex girlfriend from highschool made fun of the lyrical content a few years ago for being cheesy and obvious, but the vocal delivery is one fore the ages and I didn’t let it get to me.

“You gotta hang on in!” That line has got me through some boring days.
Another line that sticks with me is “I know you know about the Emperor’s clothes.”

I love the way it opens “don’t want to be a draaaag!” Seriously one of my favorite John vocal performances

I do hear a bit of Stevie, not so much Zeppelin. (But "Trampled Underfoot" was a bit "Supertition"-ish, so the comparison makes sense.)
John was big on those r&b records of the day! (As was Bowie, of course)
