Yup, Imagine is going to be in RB3! The awesome thing is, in RB3 they've introduced keyboards, and also Pro Mode, which lets you play the actual parts in the game, using a real guitar, real keyboard, etc., as long as you can plug it in by USB.

The setlist is also really awesome. Some songs of note:

Bohemian Rhapsody (singing the harmonies on that is going to be awesome!)

Crosstown Traffic by the Jimi Hendrix Experience

Don't Stand so Close to Me by The Police

Du Hast by Rammstein (because who doesn't like german metal? This one is for laughs)

Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd

I Can See For Miles by The Who (the inspiration for Helter Skelter )

I Love Rock and Roll by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts

I Wanna Be Sedated by The Ramones

Space Oddity by David Bowie

Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before by The Smiths

The Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News (Back to the Future, anyone?)

Whip It by Devo (another one for laughs)

And Imagine , by what's his name, the guy from that band I forgot.

That's good news. I didn't know they were allowing real instruments – I'd have loved that feature on The Beatles: Rock Band. Looks like RB3 has quite a good song selection too.

Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon
Or buy my paperback/ebook! Riding So High – The Beatles and Drugs

Don't miss The Bowie Bible – now live!

Yeah, I wish they'd done that too. And if they'd put keyboards in, we could have stuff like Let it Be and Hey Jude , and Hey Bulldog would have had its keyboard in there. Here's hoping for TB:RB 2… Would they be able to introduce the parts in a patch, or would that be unfeasible because of the size? Or just plain impossible?

This setlist has been around for quite a while, you just now noticed it?

Well anyways, it is shaping up to be an excellent game. I just wish they would have chose something like Instant Karma or Jealous Guy .

With the direction they're taking this, I should just take guitar lessons. a-hard-days-night-ringo-10

Bohemian Rhapsody is going to be on there? I hope they cut out some of it. I mean it's like freaking 16 minutes.

I was applying the literary device known as exaggeration, guys. a-hard-days-night-george-7

But I guess it isn't that long, it just seems long. I mean there's the intro, the ballad, the guitar solo, the opera, the hard rock, and the outro. It's all too much<—(haha, song:)

But I suppose Free Bird is technically longer.

Only parts of it were available for a while, and those parts weren't that great. The full setlist was accidentally revealed at GamesCom, yesterday. There's the video.

Edit: Okay, it refuses to embed. Here's the link. If Skye or Joe can help embed it for me, that would be great.

Sorta ironic that they're saying that all the leaked setlists are fake and not to believe them, and yet right behind them it's being leaked…

And yeah, I would have loved Jealous Guy . Beatles Solo Songs Rock Band time, I think

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 I haven't been able to get videos to work with anything but youtube.  I'll look into it.

I don't think there's a release date yet. This is great and all, but out of all the albums they could have picked out of John's career I would have preferred a different one. Mind Games or Walls And Bridges or something; but Imagine 's still great.

I suppose that “How do you sleep?” is going to be censored. I don't think they want kids singing “Tell me, how do you sleep, ya' cunt?”a-hard-days-night-john-7

As a guitarist, I find it demeaning to play guitar on games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I say that, but what I really mean is I'm really bad at it XD

You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.
