I kind of agree with you, Vonbontee. I see him following his own inspiration and coming up with a sound of his own, like Paul and George did.

I wonder if he would like any of our discussions here on the BB forum. He might like the Fifty Shades thread or the “what are you listening to” thread.

I also think he’d love it! Especially when we talk about the struggle for love and peace, placing him as our reference. When we discussed his songs when he defended Yoko … perfectly understand his impact on our lives, it would be something priceless for him …

I can see John posting occasionally, normally inanities and playing around just having a laugh, not letting it become in any way too serious. Heck, i can see him playing around with the whole damn Beatles legacy as we all try and post sensibly. He’d bring fire and peace at the same time.
God help the poster who pulls him up on one of his inaccuracies or challenges his peace campaigns too vehemently.

Welcome to the forum, @Johnlovedcats!
I wonder if John would have contributed a song to The Art of McCartney album.

Definitely! By now they would have been fully reconciled and friendly, even if they had not gotten together to collaborate. I love that story about how John and Paul almost went down to the Saturday Night Live studio one night when they were visiting at the Dakota.
I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.
