It’s a terrible noise to endure, lol. I do two versions: The choppy dolphin-like sounds she makes in “Fly”, and then the famous “screeching” sound. I more or less use it as a threat. “I’ll do my Yoko impression. Don’t tempt me!”

Offline My brother woke me up with his Yoko impersonation once. It was pretty obnoxious and not something I liked waking up to.

Yoko scares my cats.
It’s interesting that in R ape the “actress” may not have been in on the movie. That makes me like it a little more. I thought it was kind of boring, especially since there were no subtitles (at least in the version I saw).
So far, I really like Fly and Erection, but the other movies I’ve seen so far (unless I’m forgetting one) are not that great.
It’s interesting that John made “Self Portrait.” I’d never heard of that one. It reminds me of how one of William Reid’s (The Jesus and Mary Chain) albums was censored because he put his own little “self portrait” on the cover.

I just saw this and it reminds me of a morning radio show I listened to as a kid doing a fake ad for the Yoko Ono Alarm System. The morning show I currently listen to plays a bit of her actual performance at the MOMA whenever she’s in the news.
