There’s definitely something wrong with “expand image”, @Joe.
If an image is wide, it will show the whole thing, including the close button.
On many images that are tall though, it isn’t fitting screen size, and is pushing the top of the display, including the close button, out of frame. with no way to move the image down. Tall images, rather than wide, that are very tall, are not fitting screen.

Offline Looks like things are back to normal again (thank goodness!). Over the last few days I ended up as quite a few different users at various times: Ahhh Girl, Evangeline, Starr Shine?, HongKongLady, ewe2, Pineapple Records, piggylane, Joe and probably a few others I can’t remember. I also had the mobile version show up on the desktop a few times too (don’t worry though, everything’s working fine now 
). After that, it’s good to go back to being just me. Speaking of which, did anyone happen to end up as me while all this was going on?

Offline How do I find the unread posts on my iPod? I don’t have any menus to drop down or buttons to press that suggest that it is hidden.

Hey, look everyone, I’ve spent much of the last 48 hours in deep talks with various sys admins trying to get things working.
I know there are a lot of little gripes and grouses with the redesign, and I’ll get to them, but at the moment I need to do my day job, and also have a bit of a break from CSS and PHP. Sorry, I’ll get round to looking at it all as soon as I can.
One possibility for the missing menus/navigation is to roll back to the previous forum theme. It had issues with PMs but they may have been resolved after all the tinkering. Or they may not. I dunno. When I’m able to I’ll run some tests.
I’m just glad the Polyjuice Potion has finally worn off.

I briefly switched back to the old forum theme, and couldn’t see an option to hide your online status there either. It seems to have vanished in a Simple Press update at some point, I think. Not sure there’s anything I can do about it, sorry.

Offline This is just something I’ve noticed through my being on the forum, even on the old design. So on the Upcoming Birthdays users will be listed, but more times than not, they disappear from that list without ever being in the Today’s Birthdays section. Why is this? is it just that the Upcoming Birthday thing is flawed?

Well its been many people. It happened again the other day and that’s why I wanted to bring it to attention so that others can see if it’s happening on their side. I’ll keep an eye on UnidentifiedFiendishThingy and Georgefan and see what happens with them. Has any one else noticed this at all?

That was my first thought, but it’s happened way too much for that to be the case. Unless tons of people are changing their birthday’s when they near.

It could be because the user was deleted due to lack of any activity or they were a spammer and Joe didn’t want a bunch of inactive users clogging up the birthdays.

Offline I wouldn’t think his policy on deleting accounts would change within a few months.
As to to the relevance between this and the birthday thing, I don’t think the accounts are deleted… Gosh, I forgot what I was going to say. 
Probably just a flaw.
