Offline Using my laptop – browser is Chrome. New / Updated Topics drop down menu is on the left side of the page. Unfortunately, the menu is transparent and blends into the post below it instead of out front like it used to. Makes it very hard to see the menu.
Once all the bugs are worked out, the site will be fine. I like the new look.

Offline I have no way of closing pictures I have opened after clicking on them on the forum, instead I have to reload the page.
Not a complaint as I think the resign is a lot better than before, there are always bugs to fix which are always a pain to locate and figure out how, and PM’s are working.

On mobile, the drop down menu showing recent topics is not there.
I would like to have that feature back. For sure.
When I switch to desktop mode on my phone, I get the drop down menu, but I’d really like it for the mobile version if possible.

Offline This is an oddity on the main site, @Joe. Seems like another unintended side-effect, and you may not have noticed it yet. Seems unlikely it’s only affecting one article.

Sorry if you’ve been trying to get to the site and found it offline recently. My hosts are trying to work out why the history section isn’t loading properly. It used to but stopped working recently (not quite sure when, but I don’t think it’s connected to the redesign).
They found nothing during initial tests but had to reboot the server and make some changes. It might go offline again before it’s fixed. Sorry.

Offline That Sgt Pepper styling issue is connected to the way the forum won’t display quoted text properly. At the top of that feature it says “The origins of Sgt Pepper “. That text has styling around it to make it a headline, and the tags are closed at the end of it. For some reason the closing tag doesn’t work, and it’s extending to the rest of the page. That’s similar to the quotations on the forum – the closing blockquote tag is being ignored, and the whole section becomes a big quote.
OK, that helps a little. I’ll report it to the theme authors.

Offline It seems to be having some trouble writing to the server too. My last posts here didn’t show up for a while, and I’m having trouble editing articles. Feel free to keep trying but please don’t get too cross if things don’t save first time. Might be better to do something else until we’re back to normal.
Edit: Whenever I make a post, when the page refreshes it seems to think I’m the person I was replying to (“Hello Starr Shine? You have x unread messages”). Messages don’t show up when they’re posted either. It’s very strange. It seems to go back to normal when I navigate away then come back to the thread.
My hosts have switched the server software over to Apache (was LiteSpeed) to check for error messages on the history section. I think that switch is why things are odd right now. Hopefully when we go back to LiteSpeed it’ll be OK.
