Same – though I am struggling to recreate my thought processes and remember if anything useful I posted was lost or it was just my usual jumble of inanities

As everybody can see, the site has been switched back to its previous server. This has meant, unfortunately, the unavoidable loss of everything after a certain time on 10 December. Three days are gone and there was nothing we could do. I hope you’ll accept our apologies. Those looking at the site in the past 24 hours or so will understand bad things were happening, and Joe was doing all he could to keep it up. We are really sorry about this, and any important information you posted, please repost. Sorry about lost discussions!
For posterity’s sake I’ll add this post. ^^This is mja’s quote from post 134 up thread. I didn’t copy and paste the conversation that happened right before that (which was lost in the roll back), but I remember a bit of how it went.
On Friday morning (well it was morning for me in CST USA) December 12th, mja and I were telling Joe that some of the information pages from the site (albums, songs, discography, gallery, etc.) weren’t loading fully. mja described what we both were seeing on the screen. The BB banner and the title of the page would come up, and then the page would quit loading.
That was the point when Joe decided to go back to the retro pages and wait for Pothi’s magic touch to help chase out the 
that had invaded our happy happy spot on the web.

Right, yeah, we rolled back, but you knew all about that. Sorry I wasn’t really around to explain – I had a crazy week last week. I’ve been trying to set up a big film shoot for my day job, dealing with some of the server issues here, I bought a house on Friday, and as I was going to pick up the keys some bastard drove into the back of my car, then sped off before I got their details. Fortunately I’m OK, the car will survive, I now have a lovely new house, the shoot is going as planned, and the site is in some sort of working order again! It’s been a bit stressful.

Offline I wonder what happened to a Ringo topic — about his special style of drumming. I just saw it 10 minutes ago, and began to reply to it, but then my computer starting freezing up into blue whirligigs and I decided I didn’t want to wait another 17 minutes just to post a bloody comment, so I closed my browser, re-opened, and came back, and now I can’t find that Topic. I looked high and low (starting with the Ringo section, of course), and can’t find hide nor hair of it…
Faded flowers, wait in a jar, till the evening is complete... complete... complete... complete...
