So for the last few weeks, the New/Recently Updated Topics pull-down menu has been cutting off at the top, however, scrolling up further before pulling it down would fix it. Today it's cut off and nothing is fixing it.
This is getting worse as it's more frequent and stubborn in that it won't go away.

@Joe, I clicked on the 'PPM ' album entry from the 'I Saw Her Standing There' forum page and it came back as 'page not found' (see the image below).

Yeah, it's become almost commonplace to me at this point.

I've deleted @Bongo's post as it is indeed blank. I don't know if that is a forum error or not. Bongo, I hope you understand.
Upon first seeing the thread I presumed that amyjanelennon had asked the question in the title and deleting it at the time would have killed the thread as it was the first post. I'm of the opinion to leave it.
As for the blank post, you can submit a post and then edit* it to remove the content leaving you with a blank. This same method can also leave you with a new thread with no content in the text box. Obviously, we would ask that folk write in the text boxes as it's better to not have a number of blank posts thru-out the forum. If they wish to have posts removed, @ or PM a mod and we will look into it (more than likely we would but it does depend on the circumstance).
As far as I can remember at one point the ability to edit posts was removed due to forum users going back to their posts and removing the content leaving a trail of broken and at times incomprehensible conversations and blank spaces. As there are no notifications of these, the mods/Joe weren't able to sort them out. At one time there was also the ability for folk to delete their posts, which was removed.
*At least I presume everyone can edit their posts, all this could be nonsense if it is a mod only function.

I think there's a problem with caching. I won't bore you with the technical details, but when I just logged in it said "welcome back Sigh Butterfly". I'll disable the caching plugin until there's a fix. It might have caused some of the other errors mentioned upthread.
I'm also on a PC today, so I'll take a look at that dropdown error. Sorry for the slow response.

I'm struggling to reproduce this. I'm on Windows 10 and have tested it in Brave, Edge, and Chrome, and it always seems to display properly. I'll keep checking though.

I think the blank posts, and the ghost text that occasionally appeared when trying to write a new post, were caused by an error in the Litespeed caching plugin. I've been using it for years and it worked well, but they made some changes this month which seem to have broken various things for many site users. I've rolled back to version 2.9.9.2 (the latest is 3.0.8.2) which will hopefully fix the issues.
If it hasn't fixed them I don't know

Just a heads up for anyone experiencing weird issues: I just had some very odd behaviour from the site until I completely cleared all cookies and refreshed the site. It was if the site was simultaneously confused about whether I was coming from a mobile device and wanting to mark all articles read, nothing made sense. Thankfully a reset cleared it all up.

When I open the forum (before logging in) it seems to be stuck on May 1 at 5:37 PM. When I log in the posts that have been made since then appear as normal. Anyone else experiencing this?
Mine is also stuck on May 1 for some reason?

Did you break the forum @lovelyritametermaid? Maybe you were time traveling and got caught between dimensions!!
Gee, I hope not! And if so-- my deep apologies lmao
But yeah I've been having the exact same problem
Before logging on:
The latest post is mine and it says 13 minutes ago even though I posted that like last evening and nothing is updated. It also says I'm online-- even though I'm logged out, so lovelyritametermaid can't possibly be online
After logging on:
Everything's back to normal and updated, just like @sigh butterfly pointed out. (though mine says 6:37, not 3:37, but that's because I'm 3 hours ahead of SB)

For a while after a post is made, sigh b, when not logged in, the forum shows the local time the post was made, taking some time to show the forum time (Chicago). That lag isn't there when you're logged in. LovelyRita is in a timezone two hours ahead of Chicago.
I've also had issues with the "new/most recent" posts list not updating, @Joe , when logged out. It's showing the same list for hours on end. I've refreshed it six hours after first seeing, and it still shows the same as hours earlier. It's why I'm logged in all the time.
