I can't remember, but I think I put it in "Songs" and it was a kind of whimsical imagination of strange covers other people could do of Beatles songs.
I did an advanced search for "all forums" searching for two names I am certain were in my post -- "Andy Williams" and "Pavorotti". My topic didn't show up.

You misspelled Pavarotti, but no idea why you didn't find it using Andy Williams.

Thanks -- but no, actually it was a later topic I created similar to that one, but exclusively "bad or strange" covers.

IIRC someone rightly pointed out it was a duplicate of this earlier thread: https://www.beatlesbible.com/f.....-versions/
i can't be certain that's what happened, but I do remember something similar happening where I locked the duplicate thread, then decided it didn't really add anything so I zapped it altogether. Sorry, don't mean to cause offence.

Well, the second topic was similar to the first, but not exactly the same. The first one was like saying "List the foods you like or feel are unusual" and the second one was like saying "List the foods you find off-putting".

In that case I don't know - sorry, I don't remember the thread. If it got deleted and shouldn't have I'm sorry.

Another topic I started recently has disappeared.
I created a topic asking about the 2-part harmony Paul created in "I Will ".
I came back to look for it, and it's gone now.
Why does that happen?

I genuinely don't know. I didn't delete it. Zig and Mith are the two other moderators (Skye doesn't really do much nowadays) - I'm not sure if they did anything to it. Can you let us know, guys?
For the record, I'm not in the habit of deleting threads. It happens very rarely, and normally only when it's spam. I might merge threads if they're on a subject covered elsewhere, but again I don't do that very often. It's possible it's a server blip but this setup is pretty solid nowadays. Has anyone else had legit threads deleted?

I have had some connection issues -- maybe when I thought a post was finalized, it really wasn't. But I could have sworn that last one I mentioned I saw in the roster a day later, before it vanished...

That's a great question for our fearless leader - a techie I am not. I would be afraid that if the entire image was portrayed, it might be too small to see.
But then again I am biased as the current image shows my 2 favorite Beatles.

John and... ? I can't really tell. I think it's George, though. If it is, they're my 2 favorite Beatles, too. I mean, John's my second favorite, but you get the idea, right?

Just to make it perfect, it would be best to show John and Paul, because Paul sang that line about "you only give me your funny paper", and supposedly those lyrics were some indirect allusion to their financial negotiations over the Beatles.

I read in Anthology that it was about getting papers that said how much money they had earned but they never got the actual money.
