I think it’s fine. It fits with the Beatles Bible name.
It happens occasionally. Those who object tend to be very adamant in their feedback, typically using phrases beginning “You should” or “You shouldn’t”. I don’t engage.
One of the earliest was something like “YOU SHOULDN’T CALL IT THE BEATLES BIBLE BECAUSE DON’T YOU KNOW THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE BIBLE THE WORD OF GOD. CHANGE IT IMMEDIATELY.” I paraphrase but only slightly.
“Not quite as popular as Jesus” is obviously based on John’s notorious quotation, but I’d imagine a good proportion of people nowadays aren’t aware of it, especially newer fans who don’t pore over Beatles books like I used to.
My friend Matt wants to start a Beatles Bible podcast – “More podular than Jesus”. I’ve no plans to move into podcasting but I’ll keep it in my back pocket just in case.

I could be wrong, but I think the word “bible” at its core means a collection of works, hence the Bible is a collection of the different books therein. So the Beatles Bible would be an accurate title. Also, the subtitle shouldn’t be offensive like John’s quote was because it says the exact opposite of what he said claiming to NOT be more popular than Jesus.
