Or maybe I’m dense, I don’t know. I went to Advanced Search in the “Songs” sub-forum to see if there was a thread on “Christmas Time Is Here Again ” by the Beatles. So I specify “topic title” and type it in, then there’s this odd rule that a search string can only be “3 words” — what’s the deal with that? (as Elaine Benes used to say). Anyway, I got “0 results”. (I tried it both with the “is” capitalized “Is” and not “is”.) I can’t be sure that this means there is no thread on that song, and I sure don’t want to plow through 36 pages looking for it.
I guess what I’m saying is the title of The Beatles’ 5th album
A ginger sling with a pineapple heart,
a coffee dessert, yes you know it's good news...

I find the trick is to use these settings, and not search for all the words, just some:

It’s a but of a trick. I’ve figured out that it usually works best to search topic title only and search the phrase if you’re looking for a specific song topic. Also, it’s safe not to type the whole phrase you think you’re looking for, because the thread creator may not have worded it exactly that way. @Pineapple Records
@Ahhh Girl may have something to say on this topic.

“Minimum search word length is 3 characters – maximum search word length is 84 characters”
The search string can be longer than three words. Even the 3 character limit can be bypassed if you do a phrase search, for example, Hey Joe works as a phrase.
Synonyms are definitely helpful for some searches.

Offline I NEVER KNEW THAT IT’S AUTOMATICALLY SET TO “MATCH ANY WORD” INSTEAD OF MATCHING THE PHRASE! This is game changing! I would get so annoyed trying to look something up with a really common word in it and getting a thousand pages, so then I started just using Google to find threads I was looking for.
