Apologies if this has been asked before, but do we know which songs George actually wrote for ‘All Things Must Pass ‘, as opposed to songs that he had lying around from his Beatle days and were there enough of them to make a good single album? I guess we could count ones written after the ‘Get Back ‘ sessions?

Adding to the songs listed in the earlier posts, Run Of The Mill was written shortly after the Get Back / Let It Be sessions.

I am listening to this full album today because it’s George’s birthday. I also made cinnamon rolls because his birthday?? i don’t know why… It’s George Harrison ‘s birthday let me eat my damn cinnamon rolls!

Anyway, this album is a masterpiece i wish i had it on vinyl (my birthday is coming up though). for the millionth time i will say: george’s voice is so beautiful.

I’m listening to it too. I know I’ve said it many ways and times, but this album just has the most perfect atmosphere for cool, grey, misty/lightly rainy days in early spring when the green things are soaking up the moisture and you can feel the air all around you clinging to your skin. Which happens to be exactly what today is. This album is always a masterpiece, but on days like this, it’s the perfect masterpiece. Something about the perfect weather just enhances the listening experience so much – all that reverb makes sense when the sky looks like reverb sounds… heart

And I plan on making some sort of curried lentil dish later for Georgemas so this makes perfect sense to me a-hard-days-night-george-9

I don’t know what you’re on about, it was 50F today in Memphis, I wore 2 jackets, and was still cold.

I think the high here yesterday was in the low 60s. It wasn’t warm, in fact it was quite chilly, but it was damp and all the green stuff was greening. a-hard-days-night-george-9 Such days always remind me of ATMP and George, and the fact that yesterday was like that was just perfect heart

I found Run Of The Mill last night. That song is perfect in all ways.
