a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 Couldn't one also do "1*23*4567"?  I've also seen Strawberry do "123*4*567".

Call me nostalgic - it seemed more meaningful when the only cool sums were 9 or 17.

I agree. But it is mean toa-hard-days-night-george-10&a-hard-days-night-ringo-4 if we don't have 16 and 19. The *12*34567 is unneeded.

The fact that I just got a twelve but am not doing the YNGMYM thing is proof.

Wait ... 19?

Nostalgic. a-hard-days-night-paul-11

But I kind of feel the same way. Heck, I think it was more meaningful when A) the only meaningful one was 9 and B) you didn't announce every single time you get one. I still usually only announce a 9 when it seems appropriate. If I've done a one-sentence post, I think that seeing "*9*" at the bottom kind of ruins the "look" of the post, if that makes any sense at all.

I think I took it off a while ago because it was causing posting problems, and there were better ways of spam capture. Can't really remember now!

I nominate these two terms for inclusion in the Zigtionary.

forumpudlians (a word Zig coined a few weeks ago) = those of us who gather here to discuss the the four fabulous Liverpudlians who have brought such amazement and joy to our lives

zignature = the words and/or pictures you can put in your profile that show up on the bottom of all your posts

Mmmm, I half-second it!

"Zignature" I think is just great. But "Forumpudlians" I really don't care for, sorry: It's got too many syllables (one of which is "pud" for chrissakes!) and the consonants are all of the lumpy variety, meaning that this word doesn't roll off the tongue at all. It sounds like, I dunno, the name of a type of Scottish dumpling or something.

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!"

I'd agree with Von. Zignature is a free-flowing change to the original word whereas forumpudlian gives the feeling of being forced together, like a cut and shut car job; it doesnt feel quite right.

Well, Zig, I like your word. I think it is very creative. Hopefully some other forumpudlians will show you some love for it. Well see how it goes and if the word makes it into the official lexicon.

Even "Liverpudlian" itself annoys me! What's wrong with "Liverpooler"? (As in "I'm a born lever-puller!")
