Ringo actually has several drum solos, here's 10:

1. What You're Doing (intro)

2. Day Tripper (outro)

3. Strawberry Fields Forever (Take 7 and edit piece)

4. Hello Goodbye (during viola solo)

5. Dear Prudence (although most say that this is Paul, some say that Ringo helped on this part)

6. Why Don't We Do It In The Road (can't believe everyone forgets that this song opens with a drum solo, not sure if it's Paul or Ringo though)

7. Birthday (really simple part after 1st verse)

8. Helter Skelter (you could consider the outro a drum solo)

9. Come Together (outro)

10. The End (after the only vocal part that is sung by just Paul)

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

I agree with that list except for 2 (it's just an interesting drum pattern), 3 (I've isolated the drums to SFF and can't find a solo) and 4 (There is an overdub of 2 hi-hat strikes and a snare strike, but that is all). I would add Good Morning Good Morning to that list.

If Ringo did play on Dear Prudence , I think we'd have a completely different style of solo, as Paul and Ringo had completely different styles of drumming.

Oh, by the way, this post was made by The Hole Got Fixed!

For 3, I was referring to the outro of the Anthology version of Strawberry Fields Forever , not the album version. As for 4, I'm surprised you don't hear it but just to help you out, here are the sections of the song with lyrics to help you keep in place and a picture of Ringo to show you where the drum solo is:

Verse 1:

You say yes, I say no
You say stop and I say go go go

Pre Chorus 1:

Oh no
You say goodbye and I say hello

Chorus 1:

Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello

Verse 2:

I say high, you say low
You say why and I say I don't know

Pre Chorus 2:

Oh no
You say goodbye and I say hello

Chorus 2:

(Hello Goodbye Hello Goodbye ) Hello hello
(Hello Goodbye ) I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
(Hello Goodbye Hello Goodbye ) Hello hello
(Hello Goodbye ) I don't know why you say goodbye
(Hello Goodbye ) I say hello/goodbye

Verse 3/Viola Solo/Drum Solo:

tumblr_mz3jnr06F01s2ocj0o4_250.gif

Why why why why why why do you say goodbye goodbye

Pre Chorus 3:

Oh no?
You say goodbye and I say hello

Chorus 3:

Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello

Verse 4:

You say yes (I say yes) I say no (But I may mean no)
You say stop (I can stay) and I say go go go (Till it's time to go)

Pre Chorus 4:

Oh
Oh no
You say goodbye and I say hello

Chorus 4:

Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello

Chorus 5:

Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello hello

Outro:

Hela heba helloa
Hela heba helloa, cha cha cha
Hela heba helloa, wooo
Hela heba helloa, hela
Hela heba helloa, cha cha cha
Hela heba helloa, wooo
Hela heba helloa, cha cah cah

Typo. I meant 5, not 4. I love Hello Goodbye 's drumming. I listen to the isolated solo all the time.

I actually prefer Ringo's drumming in Hello Goodbye over his drumming in The End , Hello Goodbye 's got that tight snare and just feels more fitting but then again, it's not like The Beatles regularly made instrumentals, with Cry For A Shadow, 12 Bar Original, Flying , Wild Honey Pie , and The End being the only ones, so it's hard to expect much, especially considering the song is more well known for the guitar truel between Paul, George, and John and also it's last words, which would be my last words if I ever got executed in a court of law although fortunately in my state there is no death penalty except for federal crimes.

Who is supposed to be giving a new question,  @The Hole Got Fixed or @Dark Overlord?

I think it's me so I'll be asking a new question.

What if in 1968, after the Hey Bulldog sessions, Paul decided that he wanted that he wanted The Beatles to be a 3 guitar band with 2 lead guitarists, him and George, and then refused to play bass on any song, instead choosing some Apple scruff named Don (born 14/1/1948) to play bass instead.

Well, Don would be famous, and probably the definitive fifth Beatle too.

What if the Beatles decided to change the band's name to Sgt Pepper 's Lonely Hearts Club Band for good from 1967 onwards?

They would most likely have a string of overlooked 80s albums.

What i’d John went to school on a sports scholarship rather than art school?

If Epstein never died, then there wouldn't have been the Allen Klein fiasco that ended with Paul having to take his mates to court. I still find that incredibly sad. Brian MIGHT,just might, have kept the band together......

What if John never met Yoko?

If John had never met Yoko, he may have never moved to NY or gotten killed

They would've had a seance and raised the real Paul from the dead.

What if they had Brian May play the guitar solo to While My Guitar Gently Weeps instead of Eric Clapton?

While My Guitar Gently Weeps would've become an arena rocker.

What if Sam Kinison had sung vocals on Sgt. Pepper instead of Paul?

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8The "PWFFSROAANSKISHS" (Paul Was Fired For Some Reason Or Another And Now Sam Kinison Is Singing His Songs) rumour would have begun.

There would have been a campaign for Ringo to be made Pope, led by Paddington Bear. Beatle critics would prove he - and not Lennon/McCartney - was the real genius behind the band, refering to 'Don't Pass Me By ' as the pinnacle of human achievement. Women would come forward and claim they're children had been fathered by Ringo. They'd want no money or fame, only for their children to be blessed by him.

What if Ringo hadn't returned during the White Album sessions?

Jimmie Nicol would've made his triumphant return to Beatledom.

What if Yoko hadn't stolen George's digestives?
