When did Johnny Cash do jazz? I don’t know anyone who’d think of him as a jazz player.

Poor vonbontee – his list is taking a turn for the absurd. Let me try to right the ship – great category, von!

Famous JAZZ (or country & western) musicians!
1. Miles Davis
2. John Coltrane
3. Kenny G.
4. Rod Stewart
5. Louis Armstrong
6. Johnny Cash (Johnny Cash is jazz?)
7. Rahsaan Roland Kirk
8. Fats Waller

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Supposedly his (Rod Stewart’s) ‘Old American Songbook’ albums feature smooth jazz recordings. I wouldn’t say he is a famous jazz (or country and western) musician tho.

I Think that Rolling Stone should do a cover story of The Rolling Stones covering "Like a Rolling Stone" or if a Type of Beetle was named after The Beatles.
