@WeepingAtlasCedars who at least deserves to be for giving us all this information and pictures on them! a-hard-days-night-john-6

Have Paul or Ringo visited the Fab Forum, and if so what did they do here?

Back in December of 1965, all 4 of them decided to visit the forum and posted pictures of themselves from their recent UK tour to promote their new UK tour, here is one of the pictures by the way:

However, Joe’s uncle Moe, who was the admin before he transferred over his duties to his nephew Joe in 1991, thought that these people weren’t The Beatles but rather imposters, so he put them under tight questioning, asking them very specific things. This eventually caused Paul McCartney to fake his own death and pretend to be Faul.

Why isn’t The Beatles tambourine player Freddie Mercury in this picture.

Because Freddy was the hit maker. He was the brain behind their big hits “I want to hold your ham“, “Please freeze me” and “Yellow tambourine” among others… right in that pic he was writing their next hit “Tomorrow never flows“.

In the song “Ask me why” what is John asking us to ask him?

Who sang the ‘aaahs’ on A Day In The Life .

Which Beatles songs were banned from airplay on the BBC after their release, and why?

Piggies was considered as verbal animal-abuse and therefore not allowed to be played. She Loves You was banned, too, because the immense number of ‘yeah’s in the song posed a threat to the sophisticated English culture and Obladi Oblada was banned for containing the line ‘Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face’ which is, of course, massive discrimination against men.

How is the B-side to the Beatles’ famous song Carnival In Candlelight called?

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

Bit of a trick question: The rare original version of the single featured a b-side entitled “I Want To Hold Your Hand “, until John Lennon and Paul McCartney sued The Beatles to prevent its release, claiming that the song in question featured the exact same title, music, lyrics, arrangement, and recording as an earlier Lennon-McCartney original. Although a few copies made it to stores and were sold to the public, the vast majority were withdrawn, and the more familiar replacement single featured a new b-side called “Chess Is A Mess, Part II”, an avant-garde recording featuring George Martin’s harmonium, dual-guitar feedback from John and George, both Ringo and Paul on simultaneous drums, and (joined by Mal Evans and Neil Aspinall) all seven of them reciting non-sequitur lyrics, such as “The only number bigger than 17 million is 19 million,” and “Help I’ve got a brain stuck in my head!” The single stalled at #4 on the charts.

What famous remark did Paul make upon learning that his nude scene was cut from A Hard Day’s Night before release?

It’s one of those contrary to popular belief things. Although most people think it was because that Paul running around the streets of London bare naked was too inappropriate for a G rated movie. However, Paul has recently confirmed in a 2014 interview with Time Magazine that the scene wasn’t cut for nudity, as Paul had his Hofner bass around him, covering his genitals, but rather for copyright reasons. You see, King Diamond, the lead singer of the band KISS, is briefly seen in the background without his makeup with bassist Gene Simmons buying a chocolate bar. Although the other members of KISS didn’t mind being seen without their makeup on, King Diamond refused to be seen without his makeup on, to the point where he would regularly wear it in public and even in his house, it eventually got to the point where KISS didn’t let him appear on any of their album covers after Lick It Up, which is why he left the band in 1985, 8 years after A Hard Day’s Night was released. So he went to Paul’s house without his makeup on and threatened to sue him if he didn’t cut the entire scene and to not mention this for 37 years, so he agreed and for the next 37 years, claimed that it was because of nudity and that he said “Are we changing the title of the film to A Day’s Night?” although that had nothing to do with it.

According to Geoff Emmerick’s 1986 book Oh God Why Do I Even Bother, what 12 and a half minute George Harrison sung Beatles song that was released in 1976 prevented KISS’s Detroit Rock City (which features Paul and George playing the harmonized guitar solo) from getting higher than #2 on the billboard charts and why.

The rather bizare Yet Another Love Song For Pattie, (Keep Yer Hands Off, Eric) Hare Krishna etc. which rose because it featured Linda McCartney (credited as John Lennon ) on djembe, Denny Laine  (credited as Ringo Starr ) on a Fisher Price xylophone and Phil Spector on kazoo.

Where was Paul in the midst of this?

Working on his book, The Paul McCartney Family: Sgt. Pepper ‘s Wild Life , he was having trouble drawing the family tree, which delayed the release of his book for 14 months until he finally finished it and the book was released on July 7th, 1977.

There is one error in the officially released family tree, what is it.

Mary Patricia McCartney and Paul James McCartney Sr didn’t give birth to Paul James McCartney Jr. They gave birth to Richard Starkey!

Who was Paul James McCartney Jr’s real parents?

Trick question, HAL 9000 is both his mother and his father, same goes for Mike and Ruth, Paul adopted Paul and his siblings in 1952 after HAL 9000 died while they were filming the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey after Captain Kirk, the hero in the movie, inserted and detonated a bomb located inside it’s terminal because the machine was going to attack the children.

Why did George Harrison paint his Fender Stratocaster to make it look like this:

Because he was looking for something to do to stop his mind from wandering, and @Dark Overlord, your signature hadn’t been come up with yet. Neither had the Internet, for most intents and purposes. He was further encouraged by Paul’s Fixing A Hole . George figured if Paul could paint his room in a colourful way, then he (George) could paint his guitar to suit.

When you Google ‘George’, which Beatle do you expect to see?

It’s not technically a Beatles song, but the name of the song is called Would?, which is labeled as Allison Chains featuring The Beatles, it was recorded after their breakup in December 1970, originally conceived by John Lennon as a solo song in 1976, but sadly John died in 1980 after Yoko beat him to death with a frying pan, which got The Beatles back together and they started recording albums together again, starting with 1982’s Get Back , followed by the 1985 outtake collection Sessions, and the 1987 album BTLZ In Da Hood, which features the top 5 single Hip Stuff, which is Paul, George, and Ringo rapping over the instrumental track of Hello Goodbye .

Sadly, they were running out of ideas and their 1989 album 3 Faces Glued Together peaked at number 82 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and only one of it’s singles, the George penned I Wanted It All (Before I Had My Mind Set On You), charted, so they had to think of something special for their next album. Finally, Ringo gave Paul an idea, why not they just have other people sing instead of them. It was a great idea, so they made up an album and devised a plan, they called it The Black Album and got a bunch of singers to work on it and it was finally released on February 28th, 1992 with this track listing:

kQ9uhuT.jpgImage Enlarger

7. Eighteen Lives (Sebastian Bach)

8. I Saw A Sign (Jesse Katzopolis)

10. Invisible Touch (Peter Gabriel)

11. The Simpsons (mostly instrumental, William Shatner says The Simpsons while the three living Beatles make the choir aahs in the intro, which are double tracked)

12. Lithium (Kurt Cobain)

13. Come Together (Robin Williams)

14. So What Do You (What Do You What Do You) Want (Mike, MCA, and Rock)

15. We Will Rock You (Freddie Mercury)

16. Basket Case (Billie Joe Armstrong)

17. Higher Ground (Stevie Wonder (1st 2 verses and chorus) and Anthony Cletus (rest of the verses and chorus))

18. (You Have A Super Cool Yellow Submarine But All We Have Is A Stupid) Big Red Car (Greg Wiggler)

19. I Like To Sing (Paul McCartney )

20. What About Me (George Harrison )

22. Would? (Allison Chains )

23. Enter Sandman (James Hetfield)

24. The Show Must Go On (Freddie Mercury)

25. Hey Jude (Paul McCartney )

Instrumentation:

Legend has it if you increase the brightness and contrast of the picture…

In 1967, a year after The Beatles’ Jesus controversy, The Rolling Stones thought it would be cool by jumping on the bandwagon by saying they were bigger than what?

There isn’t a plot, it’s just the entire October 18th, 1964 recording session, which lasts for 3 hours.

According to Neil Aspinall, how did Paul convince Eddie Van Halen to play the only new instrumental contribution to BTLZ In Da Hood, the guitar solo on track 7, which is the song I Put Potato Salad On My Waffles from The Beatles 1987 album BTLZ In Da Hood, an album which contains the 3 remaining Beatles (Paul, George, and Ringo) rapping over the instrumental tracks of previously recorded material, in this case it’s like so:

Intro:

Intro to instrumental track from What Goes On

Verse 1:

Ringo rapping

Instrumental verse 1 from What Goes On

Chorus 1:

Vocal track sampled from chorus 1 of What Goes On

Instrumental chorus 1 from Helter Skelter

Piano from chorus 1 of Birthday , slowed down from C and G to A and E

Verse 2:

Paul rapping

Instrumental verse 1 from What Goes On

Brief snippets of Paul’s guitar solo from While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Chorus 2:

Vocal track sampled from chorus 1 of What Goes On

Instrumental chorus 1 from Helter Skelter

Piano from chorus 1 of Birthday , slowed down from C and G to A and E

DJ solo:

Turntable scratches from DJ MF Bling Billy P

Intro to Day Tripper

Transition piece:

Snippet of vocal track from What Goes On (AKA John, Paul, and Ringo singing “What Goes On “, with the on repeating itself, each time going up a semitone until it reaches A)

Guitar solo:

Guitar solo by Eddie Van Halen

A7 D7 part from The End

Bridge:

George rapping

A7 D7 part from The End

Transition piece:

Piano from and in the end section of The End

Bass drum hits from drum solo of The End

Drum fill from Helter Skelter

Chorus 3:

Vocal track sampled from chorus 1 of What Goes On

Instrumental chorus 1 from Helter Skelter

Piano from chorus 1 of Birthday , slowed down from C and G to A and E

Outro:

Acapella “what goes on in your mind”
