I can’t remember exactly how in 2011 I came up with the idea of a Magritte parody consisting of a moptop and Apple logo, but I certainly thought it was a nice idea and looked cool (and still do, ahem.)

Offline Haha there are ‘biblers who haven’t posted since 2014 who could tell the story, I’ve relayed it so many times. I created the first account at home, then a coupla weeks later I NEEDED to post something from the office and couldn’t recall my generated password so I just made a new account. When I made the avatars, I decided to commemorate the work/home origin story with two different outfits, even though I’ve never worn a tie for work. Since then I’ve given them equal time, even after leaving that office job. Only on infrequent occasions (like when I’m “of two minds” about a posting) will I use them both consecutively as part of a larger dialogue wth “myself”.

Offline Nothing deep for me. My real name is Jim and I always liked the MMT film and the Beatle songs from this era. And as you can see from some of my posts, I have a weird (jolly?) sense of humor. So I thought a picture of Jolly Jimmy Johnson would be a good fit. Only serious Beatle fans would recognize it.
The only challenge was finding a picture of him to use. This was only good picture I could find so I doubt I will ever change it.

Offline I think my first profile picture was a drawing of a penguin dressed as Sherlock Holmes that William Shears Campbell suggested for me but I decided I wanted a Beatles picture. I knew I wanted all of them in the picture so I chose this image from A Hard Day’s Night because all of them are in the picture and it is also shows them being silly.
I don’t have any desire to change my profile picture at this point but it may happen in the future.
