Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this particular photo has already been discussed on this forum, but I stumbled across it the other day. It's a picture of Tony Sheridan and Stuart Sutcliffe, and a pretty odd one at that.

Both these musicians of course played essential parts in the early stages of The Beatles career in Hamburg, and after Tony Sheridans recent death this picture has becomes that bit more significant in my opinion.

Just a few questions:

Does anyone know the origins of this photo? e.g. who took it, where.

Are there any other photos of Sutcliffe and Sheridan?

Is this actually the only picture of Sutcliffe in colour? (this is mentioned around the internet)

Can anyone tell whats going on between Sheridans legs?

Are there any other photos of Sutcliffe and Sheridan? This is the only one I've ever seen.

Can anyone tell whats going on between Sheridans legs? A loaded question, that! To me, it looks as though he is on some type of bicycle - his right foot appears to be on a pedal.

My question is, is that really Stu? It looks like him and it doesn't. I know The Beatles were into those very pointed shoes back then, so it could be...or not.
