Please add any pics of George Harrison from the solo (non-Beatles) years that you may come across. Good-sized and good-quality ones preferred. I'll add them to the picture gallery section of the site.

These might also include pics of Olivia, Dhani, Pattie Boyd, or anyone else who played a significant role in his life after The Beatles (I know Pattie was part of his life before The Beatles, but there's a separate thread for that).

Thanks!

A lot of your images don't seem to appear. Can anyone else see them? The source starts with s3.amazonaws.com - I think that might be a problem, if you need to be signed in to view the files.

The places I'm linking from are no longer being cool, and I've be trying to load them to my own Picassa account and linking from there. Some people get so hung up on bandwidth. Sheesh. a-hard-days-night-paul-3

Thanks for bringing that up, Joe - I thought it was just my browser. I can see the 3 pics in post #5 above, but can not see the pic in post #6.

Hope that helps, skye. I always enjoy your posts (I admire your quick wit!), but can't see the pics in all of them.

*wiping the dust off this thread* Some rare photos from a George concert have surfaced, via the British Beatles Fan Club and The Examiner.

I thought this was an interesting perspective on Ravi Shankar playing at the concert:

Halfway through the show Ravi Shankar and his band came out to play their set of Indian Music. It basically served the purpose of an intermission so everybody could get something to eat and go to the bathroom and talk about this momentus event in our lives.

Because most reviews express confusion/outrage over the fact that he played twice, but that makes sense.

Well, I clearly missed the golden era of concert photography. This guy was allowed to bring in an SLR *and* a tripod to the concert!

The British Beatles Fan Club is cool, it's a hell of a lot better then the Irish one who's website hasn't been updated since around 2001, the prices are still in Irish punt (£) for heaven's sake O.o Anyways to add to the thread
