I’m really enjoying going through Klaus Voorman’s shop, but this stood out as particularly good

What sorcery is this! https://huggingface.co/spaces/…..-diffusion
You put in an object (person, whatever) and put “in the style of” and then type an artists name.
Beatles in the style of Van Gogh
Warhol
Disney
And if you re-run the search, you get different images.
another Disney
This technology is causing real concern for artists who are still alive and working. https://www.businessinsider.co…..es-2022-10

Some people here will know that one of my favourite Beatles artworks is a large painting by (Lionel) Barry Agar called The Trojan Horse…
It was used as the dust jacket of the 1980s book The Art of the Beatles by Mike Evans…
…and printed on the end pages of the book as well.
It was a recent painting, and only discovered by Evans as the book was finished. It looked to become a major Beatles artwork, and something that the artist wanted to market and share with a wider audience, but it disappeared (not literally) and I always wondered why the artist didn’t make prints and posters of it, stick it on mugs and T-shirts, etc.
And while I knew part of the story of what happened to the actual painting, and where it is now, I didn’t know the whole story, which turns out to be another shabby episode in the story of Apple where they didn’t live up to the promises made. The video also explores the painting, pointing out quite a few things about the Agar’s intent that I hadn’t noticed…
