The #hotpaul gods answered my prayers on Paul’s birthday, and I happened to see this non-solarized outtake of one of Avedon’s portraits taken August 11, 1967 at a friend’s FB. Turns out the Avedon Foundation shared it on their Instagram a month ago.

New photos during Magical Mystery Tour filming have surfaced
The photos were taken by a fellow guest at the hotel where the Beatles were staying, who started chatting with the group at the hotel bar and then accompanied them on a day’s filming.
The photos were sold at auction for more than £3,000.
Here’s one photo collage from the set

@Shamrock Womlbs asked where this photo…
…was taken in another thread. From a photoshoot with Henry Grossman that took place at Ringo’s home, Sunny Heights, on 28 February 1967, here are another few shots from the day…
(For those with an interest in Beatle pets, the second dog is Ringo’s poodle, Tiger.)

Thanks! I had a feeling it was Sunny Heights since that brick wall and stairs behind them is kinda similar to the one in John’s Kenwood but the ground they are staying on confused me. Instead of that grey thing i thought it would be grass. And always thought that those pictures of John, out of the house, hwith that militar Jacket were taken at Kenwood.
I’ve never seen picture number 13. What are they looking at? Looks like a TV or similar. Is that Ringo’s cinema room at sunny heights?
EDIT: I’ve just seen your answer in the other thread. So that “grey thing” they are staying on is pavement. … Oh boy Richie, wha a thing to do.

I found this really interesting picture of what appears to be Paul playing George’s 12 string Rickenbacker with members of Jefferson Airplane.

It’s quite possible that Ringo bought one himself, or that it’s George’s, @Rube, as if one saw something they liked, others within the group often got the same item. George certainly had one as can be seen in the first picture below.
The Beatles in the offices of Norman’s Film Productions on Old Compton Street in Soho, London, during the editing of MMT – probably November, but possibly September…
Some of you may recognise the older gent sitting next to George in the first photo and standing in the second from the Hey Jude video. He was a well-known Soho character and busker, Bill Davis, who they became friends with during their trips to Soho to work on MMT.
