Have any of the castings been confirmed?
One has been officially denied: "...on Thursday, Rocketman star Rowe’s team denied the claim of his casting, telling Metro.co.uk: ‘We can confirm that this is not true.’

I actually enjoyed Nowhere boy. I still hold hope!

Beatles fans are notoriously difficult to please and very quick to condemn.
From experience I can tell that no fandom is as bad, toxic and possessive as the Star Wars fandom. The amount of hate, toxic behavior against crew and cast as well as bitching about content does not have equals!
For me the cast is not important concerning the look. Like it’s said: the way they act their parts is way more important!
It must have been as serious as the performance of Austin Butler as Elvis.
I am still looking forward to the project! It’s been something I’ve been waiting for for years.

I really hope that they do these Biopics right.
There has been an endless flood of biopics since Boheim Rhapsody came out and everyone has been trying to cash in on making Biopics about every musician. There have been a number of good ones since Boheim Rhapsody, but the amount that has been coming out at the rate they are coming out is crazy.
I feel like if you're making a biopic about the Beatles there is SO SO SO much possibility. There are so many good ways to tell the story of the Beatles while staying accurate to who they really were as people and musicians! Now obviously every biopic has its inaccuracies and things that were changed for story telling purposes. I don't care if a few things are changed as long as they get the beatles right and tell the story in a way that stays true to the Beatles that's what I really care about
Another thing to keep in mind is there are four separate movies! Four chances to tell the stories of the Beatles four different ways! I feel like an interesting idea is if each film is done in a way to portray the respective Beatle they way THEY saw themselves! Or tell their side of the story! Or some noticeable change! I don't want it to be the same movie four times but slightly different, y'know. There's so much that one could do when making a Beatles Biopic! As long as it stays true to the Beatles and tells their story in a dynamic way that fits the Beatles then Good Job!
All I am saying....is I'm afraid this is just gonna be another boring generic biopic like a lot of the others. I want the story of the Beatles to be told in a Beatle-y way y'know get them the way they were they way they saw themselves! Portray them the way they were! I want this Beatle-ness to be shown in an interesting way! Ah, whatever I'll see in 2 years how I feel after seeing the movies, and if they did something interesting. I hope this is something to introduce the Beatles to a bigger audience, AND portray them correctly and interestingly. But knowing Hollywood…

This casting choice is not good but at last its better than walk hard. Harris looks more like Paul than john Joseph looks NOTHING like george and Barry is the only one who looks like the person there acting as. Paul Mescal looks little bit like paul but not alot.

None of them even resemble the Beatles in the slightest.
The Actor for Paul has really strong facial features that I don't think look anything like Paul. Paul's face was nice and cute, WHAT IS THAT?! The actor for John would make a better Paul tbh.
The actor for John might be the closest. It would be better if they switched the actors for John and Paul. Plus, you know what they say about John Lennon
, "Slap on some round frame glasses and anyone will look like John Lennon
".
The actor for George... Where's the defined Jawline? Where's the strong facial features? Where's his aura of Georgeness? If you're gonna get an actor to play George at least get someone who has a defined jawline and strong facial features! (The aura of Georgeness takes time to cultivate) The actor has none of that!
And Ringo. The actor for Ringo doesn't even look like Ringo at all. Blue eyes and Short. That's about the only two things in common.
My poor bug boys!!! WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU

Guys. Its not about the looks. The Beatles have such a unique look its hard to find true resambles. For me its more important they match in their characters, mannerisms and charm then their look. You'll never find anyone with Pauls or Johns face.
The more important thing is: they need to catch their charm, their style, their act, their character. The way they speak and talk to each other. Their energy and their friendship.
This can be good. Just because you look like doesnt mean you can act it. Lets wait and see how it will come together before starting complaining.
The most important thing will be: NO CHEAP WIGS! 😉 😉

I don't think it matters who they cast for likeness as my brain will still scream "that's not the Beatles!!!!" every three minutes.
It's more about the final product: if the four actors can create the same intense bond between themselves that the four originals had, how much say Apple has on the story to keep it on message etc. Will all three hail Yoko's arrival and cheer John because it's a nicer version than the reality, especially in John's POV where he felt they were hostile? How will they deal with drugs?
If the films turn out to be little more than "oh, weren't the four Beatles great pals who changed the world then had great solo careers" it's a waste of time.

I don’t want to be too much of a downer but to say I’m nervous about this is an understatement. Four films seems both like overkill and not enough to properly convey the nuances of their mythology. It runs the risk of being overdramatised or sanitised, and could possibly give the wrong first impression for younger viewers who have no idea who the Beatles even were before seeing these movies. I’d just much rather watch their old interviews and the like, the real deal Beatles.

I agree with @KyleKartan, good acting usually trumps physical appearance. Paul Mescal in particular is brilliant. This scene from Normal People will always stick with me...
