The role of Youngman Grand was originally offered to John Lennon , who was tempted to perform the role but eventually had to decline due to legal difficulties related to his October, 1968 arrest for possession of marijuana.

I don’t see how a person can’t like it. It’s not like it was pretending to be intelligent or sophisticated. After all, it is about cave men. I’ll definitely watch it again.
I actually thought it was pretty clever, and I laughed more than I have at some other films that are supposed to be funny.
