Wow, excited for this! Do you think they’d show it in theaters?

I am very happy, and one reason is because I have The Beatles. Thank you!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

I doubt its going to be out in 2013 Piggies . The title of the thread was based on a comment by Michael Lindsay-Hogg but the ultimate decision has to be complete agree from Paul, Yoko, Olivia and Ringo. Yoko would probably release anything if she could spin it to make Johns image remain intact and herself look great – tho that might be hard with the Let It Be film. As for the other 3 i dont think they want to go back there (Olivia keeping George’s views).

Shame for the fans and hopefully im wrong.

I get the impression Paul doesn’t want it to go ahead because he feels it makes him look bossy and pedantic rather than the everyman diplomat he likes to be in public.

Those last couple of points are very Neil Aspinall era, if that means anything. Since he left Apple and Jeff Jones took over as CEO they’ve been WAY more proactive in reissuing material. Aspinall basically said no to everything apart from Anthology, Live At The BBC and Yellow Submarine for 30 years. I suspect we’ll see LIB next year – if for no other reason, they’ll want it out before everyone stops buying optical discs and the market shrinks.

Since we are talking about reissues, are there any news on re-releasing all The Beatles albums on vinyl?

No new Beatles vinyl I can think of, but Paul’s new remastered Ram album will be on vinyl in stereo and mono. And George’s new Early Takes’ albums are on vinyl too.

Yeah I know about RAM, and I have to say Paul’s vinyl are a bit expensive, at least on Amazon. I think I saw Band On The Run is 37 euros…
