Good Dog Nigel. Arf, Arf, he goes, a merry sight. Our little hairy friend. Arf, Arf, upon the lampost bright, arfing around the bend. Nice dog! Goo boy, waggie tail and beg. Clever Nigel, jump for joy
Because we're putting you to sleep at three of the clock, Nigel.

There's an actual video of this. They're in a cab, and Bob is making some kind of documentary. He seems really out of it bc he's sick, and in the video, John looks really uncomfortable. It's a great meeting, though!

The documentary was called Eat the Document and was filmed in 1966 before Bob had his accident. John and Bob were bought stoned and, i think, drunk which made very little of the material useable at the time. I think John was also paranoid about Dylan at that time, going back to Norwegian Wood and 4th Time Around.

Oh, hon…don't feel bad. It only takes some digging on youtube to become acquainted with “unseen” footage. We're all here to tell each other about different things we find! It's cool to meet people who are more knowledgeable than me because I get to learn about my favorite subject…The Beatles! I hope we can all add to each other's Beatles experience.

Well anyway, let's just discuss the highlights and the low points of the recording. I love how Bob sounds like an 18 year old getting stoned xDa-hard-days-night-john-1

a-hard-days-night-ringo-7Yeah, I suppose that's about right. And John sounds so cool headed. It's a shame I can understand only third of Dylan's speech, it's like he's speaking another language. But I suppose he's famous for that

I love the contrast in their accents. Minnesota and Liverpool.a-hard-days-night-ringo-9

"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that."

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.

"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."
