I think Paul once judged a beauty contest.

Love one another.

Ha! I guess I can kinda picture that… mccartney-shrug_01_gif

Reporter: Beethoven figures in one of your songs. What do you think of Beethoven?
Ringo Starr: He’s great. Especially his poetry.

I don’t think the ladies would mind that verdict.

Phil Collins…….

By-the-way…….If you’ve watched the new Who Cares? video with Paul exercising his ‘acting chops’…..You’ll see he still can’t carry stuff like this off. But who cares?

Great man…..Lacks the insincerity to act.

Oh I was looking at interviews and I found one where the Beatles were asked this question

Q: “Who do you consider the best actor among you?”

JOHN: “Ringo.”

I haven’t read through the whole thread but has anyone mentioned Ringo’s acting in That’ll be the Day? I think he’s fantastic in that film even if it was a perfect role tailor made for him.

If the music hadn’t worked out John could have had a great career as a comedic actor.

Ringo seems to be the popular answer to this question. I think though that the guys were better than just being actors. They were winners in life, and their natural personalities were strong enough on their own.

After rewatching AHDN way too many times lately, I guess I would have to say John. Although I’m not really sure what qualifies as “acting” in this case. Overall, John seems the least forced in his delivery of lines and whatnot, but no one really watches AHDN or Help ! or Magical Mystery Tour for the acting.

Isn't he a bit like you and me?

Let me start by saying acting is about the only creative thing Paul struggles with……John’s funny, Ringo got all the reviews but I keep coming to George’s ‘Dead grotty shirrrt’ scene. George acted that scene well…….

They all had their moments

Answer:

I may have said John before but now I feel George

I suppose it depends on how many of John’s scenes were improvised and how many followed the script…

Love one another.

Best actor … Ringo in That’ll be the Day. Worst actor… Paul in Give My Regards to Broadstreet.

In fairness to Paul, there was nothing about the Broadstreet movie that was good apart from the music.

Turn off your stream, relax and float down mind
