Realistically – yes. Some of the “sound bars” do a semi-decent job as well. One of the downsides of my upcoming house sale is losing my home cinema system (which is wired through the ceiling so I’m leaving it up there) – just as this new release is about to hit the store shelves.

Mashable has the exclusive debut of ‘A Day In The Life ‘*. No idea how to embed it here. Again and as with the others we’ve seen so far it looks amazing.
You can hear the audio has been remixed, sounds really nice – until you get to the “ahh’s” which are incredible.

Offline Just been reading the MOJO review. Five stars. A fairly interesting three-page summary, if superficial. No technical analysis and no description of the deluxe edition’s book. Still, it bodes well.

Wowee, that sounds incredible! I never heard those opening strums so clearly. I may just have to start liking this song now 
But I found, on my slow old growler, it was really stop-and-start-y, both the audio and the video. Ergh.

Offline Okay, I just watched the YouTube that mmm embedded (I had to fiddle with the quality to get it to play, which sort of defeats the purpose) and my mind is officially blown. I was always creeped/freaked/weirded out by that song, and the remix and super-trippy video has increased the effect by tenfold.
Excuse me while I go regain my sanity…

Offline Wogblog posted a link to when ‘Penny Lane ‘ got its debut on Norwegian tv. Is anyone able to summarize what the two guys say about it afterwards as it would be interesting to know if it got the same kind of reaction as it did when it (and ‘Strawberry Fields’) were first shown on US TV – if you havent seen that its below and is a great watch.

Offline So, this is how ridiculous the world has become. A man from Scotland wants to share a video showing a clip of an American television show. A man from America clicks on the video and is greeted by the message “This video contains content from UMG_MK. It is not available in your country”.
Lawyers.
I have seen that in the past, mmm. IIRC, it received less than a warm/fuzzy reception overall.

Yup, it’s true. The only Beatles songs that will work on my playlist (that I know of, at least) are Love Me Do and I’m A Loser . I’m still in the process of both deleting the songs that have that message and debating whether or not I should just buy the songs off of ITunes, or just buy my favorite Beatles albums. I swear, it’s annoying as hell

Yup, it’s true. The only Beatles songs that will work on my playlist (that I know of, at least) are Love Me Do and I’m A Loser .
