BSF, I get your point. Back in those days, it seems directors did not call for the right shots at the right moments very often. Worse yet, this was from a talk show, so expectations probably shouldn’t be so high. The one saving grace is that John may have figured out what the cameramen were doing – it appears he is pulling a different face each time the camera spots him.
That’s our Johnny, alright.

Offline As @meanmistermustard observes over in the Hello Goodbye song thread, the video appears to have a new edit of the coda.
Does this raise something to be concerned about?
Of the two preview videos released so far, Revolution and Hello Goodbye , both appear to be new edits of the material. How many of the promo films are going to be new versions of the promo films?

Offline ‘Strawberry Fields’ has new parts in it as well.
I think a lot (well where possible) are going to be “new” in regard to edits, previously unseen sections etc, probably to try and a) beat all the bootlegs out there and b) offer all the fans out there something new that they have to buy it.
In regards to the changes its not unexpected from Apple and Yoko did it for a lot of the Lennon Legend promos. Maybe its down to all the previous times where Apple have messed about but I find it hard to care, certainly not as much as with the actual music. Its a promo video, I like seeing new footage. Many will be raging however.

Probably has to know what the difference is between white and the 48,000 variations of white you get when buying paint which when put on the walls looks white.

This is the original promo video of the song, In Anthology they edited the coda with footage of Version 3.

Nice.
BTW, love Jools’ show. To me, he seems to love what he does and it shows. His mannerisms on stage at the Concert For George made me laugh – he looks so happy to be there.
Jools’s life is an enviable one, for sure, Zig. He basically gets to jam with his idols and the cream of contemporary artists, and get paid (one assumes) rather a lot of money for it, to boot!
